Democrats are introducing another assault weapons ban, this time by going after weapons that use expanding gases from a fired round to cycle the action. In other words, outlawing every semiautomatic weapon.

It also:

  • requires that all designs of new firearms be submitted to the ATF for design approval before they can be manufactured
  • outlaws “unapproved modifications to permissible firearms”
  • outlaws “unlicensed firearm self assembly and manufacturing”

No weapon would be approved for manufacture or sale if it accepts or can be modified to accept any magazine or other ammunition feeding device that holds, or is capable of holding, more than 10 rounds. Magazines that are permanently fixed to the weapon and cannot be changed out and hold less than 15 rounds in handguns, and 10 rounds in long guns, would be exempt.

I am getting this from Lefty press releases. I am looking for the text of the bill as I write this.

I am looking at getting a 3D printer and/or a Ghost Gunner.

Probably running it up the flagpole to see who salutes. I doubt they expect to get this through Congress, RINOs or not.

If we can shoot enough kids with AR-15’s….
I mean, they did just import a few platoons of irate middle easterners with a grudge against America and Jews in general. It’s not like the Eff Bee Eye has a history of performing false-flag operations to enact unjust laws that would otherwise never pass.

A good theory, but I got two words for you: Sandy Hook.

Sandy Hook wasn’t enough to get the ball rolling again on gun control. They’ve been losing ground steadily since the 00’s, and the more civil unrest they sow the worse their chances are to push gun control through.

Check out bambu labs and one able to do carbon fiber printing and fast printing in general.
If just PLA/PLA+, there are cheaper ones though in other brands. Creality has a new one, K1, which is faster than their older ones. Ender 3 and variants have been reliable though slower than the newer generations.
Just do some shopping about, and having more than one is good for multiple projects or small bits at a time.

> other ammunition feeding device

Just wait until the ATF re-classifies your hand/fingers as an ammunition feeding device…

It might be worth comparing the Ghost Gunner vs. general-purpose hobbyist CNC machines. My question would be, can the GG control files be used or readily adapted for use with more GP machines?

This is not a question of trying to have some cover; it’s that if I’m going to have a desktop CNC machine in my workshop, if possible I’d like it to be able to do materials harder to machine than aluminum, and from what I’ve heard that would be dicey with the GG. (Which desire would spike up the size and cost, most likely.)

I’ve had a Canon printer for years …

Eh i’m only surprised they have not used this language before. I’m sure most of congress is too stupid to know what it means. Make no mistake however the goal is to stop the supply/sale of firearms.

Hahahahahahahaahahaaahhahahahaahahaaaaa…. no.

“3-D Printing” and even small CNC Machines don’t solve the Problem of Forging and Rifling a High-Strength Steel Barrel. Neither does my 13-inch South Bend Lathe, nor the Bridgeport Vertical Mill. I Expect that, it being un-possible to “Ban Assault Weapons” outright, and the level of Fear shown by the communists about “personally-manufactured Firearms”, they will go for declaring that ANY ‘gun part’ is a ‘gun’, and can only be Sold by Licensed Dealers to ‘approved’ (background-checked) Purchasers.

I addressed that already, six years ago.

There is a book here at Sector Ocho on the training page that tells you how to build your own SMG from common hardware store parts.

    That problem has been solved.
    Electrochemical Machining.
    Look it up.
It’s a part of the process of making an FGC-9 and people are still experimenting with it for other projects and barrel lengths and widths.

Just watched the Saint George Floyd aka Baby Daddy of FUSA what really happened video (h/t-MB) and gun control meshes perfectly with anarcho-tyranny and defund the police that was worked out in the Minneapolis petri dish.
