Mitch McConnell is about to sell out gun owners. Reports on CNN that McConnell has encouraged Texas Sen. John Cornyn to begin discussions with Democrats to see if they can find a middle ground on pass gun control legislation in the wake of the Texas elementary school shooting.

The Republicans are about to sell out gun owners in order to gain political capital to get some other Republican project a green light. This is why I can’t trust Republicans. They always find a way to feather their own nest at the expense of gun owners.

I used to say that I would never vote Democrat, because Democrats are evil. The problem is that voting Republican isn’t much better, because Republicans will sell out in order to get money or remain in power. Perhaps it would be better to vote for the most lefty politicians there are, so we can get the fight started. I’m not getting any younger, and if it’s inevitable, we might as well get it started while I can still contribute.

Not only has the vote itself been rigged, those you get the choice of voting for are also rigged such that there is no one on the slate of candidates you can vote for who will actually represent your interests. There are those who will claim they will represent your interests prior to the votes being cast, but once ensonced in the halls of power, will predictably fail to do so, every single time. And despite this pattern being long established and easily spotted, there are still “constituents” who act surprised and butthurt about it.

The American experiement has utterly failed, our current system of representstive democracy in the form of a republic has died of the same disease that kills all republics. And it has again done it’s dirty work right on schedule, at about the 250 year mark, give or take. The only remaining question is what form the wind down will take, and how brutal it will be.

And who really knows what will come out the other side? I won’t bother to speculate on that, it’s too early in the game yet. I do know the good guys need to get serious about battling an adversary that has neither any principles nor self-restraint whatsoever. See Russia, 1917 for an idea of what we are up against.

Written history – to the extent it can be trusted to be accurate – will be somewhat helpful in advising us on what to expect in this phase of the imperial death throes. Human nature has not changed, only the specific tools and methods of oppression and torture have advanced with modern technology and scale.

We know some groups will seek to destroy others, and eventually some will succeed in destroying others. My only advice is to be the destructor, not the destroyed, because an outcome involving both is most assuredly where this is going.

It could never end any other way. It is almost pointless to post that, because deep down almost everyone knows it, even if they won’t admit it to themselves. And yet some naieve idealists will still outwardly cling to the notion the system can be saved, because the thought of losing the familiar status quo is far too uncomfortable to consider.

Would not be the least bit surprised.

“Perhaps it would be better to vote for the most lefty politicians there are, so we can get the fight started.” That’s pretty sound logic actually. Like ripping the bandage off. I’d like to think they could do hardly worse that what’s going on now. But it can always get worse.

That said, no way I vote for Beto. At least at some level the republican reptiles have some fear. He has none because he’s retarded.

Between this sellout and their war boners for Russia, they seem to be actively working to detonate the populace. I think it’ll go sideways long before they get around to doing anything with the 2A. Gas prices and inflation skyrocketing, granny’s investments getting looted, I’d be surprised if we made it to Christmas without all hell breaking loose.

I forgot to round my point with the link – add to the general troubles, crazy young men with no means of visble support arming up with thousands of dollars of gear and shooting up schools.

I used to think they are just that stupid, or are doing it on purpose. I’ve come to understand, it’s both.

If I could get one message in front of McConnell, Cornyn and all the rest it would be “Not One Single Penny Ever Again if you do this.” As you have pointed out excellently throughout the last several days, criminals – and I’ll include psychos – don’t obey laws. Anyone willing to commit wholesale murder – the one crime that practically every society on Earth agrees to outlaw – isn’t going to be bothered by one more law to break. They need to be taken out the minute they walk on campus to start. Resource officers, concealed carry for teachers who feel they can or should, hardening the access points, and all the security we give the freaking NFL, NBA, Hollywood’s Oscars and brain dead politicians.

Vortexes get faster as they go closer to the drain hole as I recall. So we are traveling around and down but nobody can figure the speed it seems. I guess toward the end, it really picks up speed as the vortex spiral gets tighter.

I have now totally lost any shred of respect I may have had left for politicians and law enforcement. Just day-to-day for us all right now.

Whether we vote repub or demon, we are voting for the lesser of two levels of Evil. But we’re still voting for EVIL, either way.

You all here seem to forget we are in a Fourth Turning. ALL current institutions will lose credibility and the trust of the people. What comes next will be very different. It is up to us as to what form it will take. In this Fourth Turning both the enemy and total ” knife to the hilt” war will be internal. Let’s win!
