Only in Russia? Nope – plenty of tannerite-related videos from over here too.

(Yannow, that rig seems just tailor-made for riot control…)

I love it and they were laughing as well. Reminds me of my days playing with tannneryte

When i was kid in the mid 70s we made tennis ball cannons out of steel beer cans and duct tape. very little construction was necessary, but there were a few breach failures. all you needed was some lighter fluid and a lighter. good times

I love this stuff. And the Russians do a lot of crazy, video worthy stuff. This is the sort of irreverent risk taking just for fun that has been largely lost in the US. We have become a culture endlessly beset and micromanaged by humorless, bitter school marms and common scolds obsessed with “safety”, compliance and control. Fucking authoritarians are killing our enjoyment of life with their petty, tyrannical bullshit. My God, do I yearn for the day when we can throw them all off.

July 4 will see me blowing up a lot of stuff, and having a great time doing it.

that looks like a fun time to me ! from the look of it firing.
i would have to say it was just a “blast charge” -something to make noise. if the charge was pushing something out in front of the charge, there be more recoil seen.
we used to make tennis ball cannons all the time when I was a kid. I do know of one time one was shot at a east German guard tower in West Berlin back in 1978. again, fun times.
that one did not end well for a lot of people though.
