As I write this, the FBI has just raided Mar a Lago, searching for evidence that he planned the events on January 6 in order to overthrow the government.
As I wrote on January 7, 2021, President Trump needs to flee the country. The left will not rest until they see him dead or in prison. The left wants to get rid of Trump. Permanently. Since they couldn’t finish the impeachment and lock him out of office, they will find another way. As in death or prison. I have been saying this for awhile, he needs to take his money and go to a non-extradition country. With his family. Before they kill them all, like the Bolsheviks did to the Romanovs.
The crisis phase of a communist revolution is where the insurgents eliminate anyone who can oppose the revolution. The counter revolutionaries must be eliminated. Once this phase began, the existing government usually collapses with blinding speed, perhaps only weeks.
Violence is considered a means to achieving the goal of centralized power. There is not even a pretense of due process or respect for free speech. Yes, there are pretexts given for eliminating perceived enemies, excuses that have the perpetrators projecting their own intentions upon their victims, but the accusations are merely for show.
Trump needs to consider getting himself and his family out. They are going to silence him, even if that means his death.
At any rate, people disappearing was always my tripwire for knowing that we were officially in a dictatorship. Once that begins, it will be time to shut down this blog. Look up what the Russians under Soviet rule called “vzyali” to see how this worked.
I am not egotistical enough to think that I am important enough to be disappeared along with the likes of Trump, Hannity, or Paxton. However, I plan on melting away before they work too far down the list. Once the disappearances begin, the time for talking is over.

I can’t argue with any of that. Trump, depsite my having myriad issues with him over his failings and shortcomings – especially his continued belief in the system working depsite its obvious failure – would have been wise to bail the hell out ASAP after January 6, 2021. If he was concerned about his business holdings here, the left will shamelessly steal that from him anyway, so his remaining present here to oversee his empire will have been a moot point.
I figure that he stayed in the US more as a product of arrogance, short sightedness, and normalcy bias, and I was telling people I know by late January of 2021 that he and his family would eventually be targeted for elimination ala the Romanovs. I’m only surprised it has taken this long for that portion of cleaning the operation to commence.
And yet again, the consequences trump suffers will be a direct result of his own ideological blind spots and stupidly misguided trust in converged institutions. He should’ve gone over the line and suspended the constituion, declared martial law and started executing trators left AND right when he still held office. He’d ultimately be no worse off for having done so, as they are now going to get him for the “crime” (upholding his oath of office, actually) that he absolutely should’ve comitted, but declined to, either out of a sense of decorum, or because he was a chicken shit.
Either way, it doesn’t matter now, does it? The consequences will be much the same, only on a longer timeline. And hey, that approach worked for Lincoln. Well, for a little bit anyway. He eventually got gotten, too, if by less direct means.

Think about that one statement for a moment.

How in the hell would that work? What would that look like?
I mean…he has secret service protection for starters. Could he literally book a flight to some random country, pack a suitcase, drive to the airport, and board a plane without them noticing? Without them intervening? Even if the secret service went along with it, he’s very conspicuous. Lots of people would notice.
Would he be a target in the new country? Would secret service follow him? Would he have to hire his own security? Where would he stay? Would his accounts be frozen?
Sheesh. Seems like a book Michael Chriton would have written. I’d definitely read it.

Yeah, I can’t see it. The enemy would shout from the rooftops; “Look! Guilty Trump fled the country!” The conviction in public opinion would be worse than anything but a jail cell. I can’t think of too many places he could go, most likely some arab emirate. The Junta in power would probably invade with Rainbow Rangers and a brigade of the All Atheist Airborne Division if he were not handed over upon request.
Re: disappearances, Yeah, that is how we are all playing it. If the power is on, the Internet is up, but the bulk of the resistance goes dark over night, those of us not already dead or in the bag will know what happened. Checking in on the more public elements of the movement on a daily basis is a good excuse for spending so much time reading and commenting here and elsewhere.

It won’t matter what they say. It doesn’t matter if he runs for office or doesn’t. DJT will not be president ever again. He will either be dead or in prison before that happens, the left will see to that. His only way out is out.
There are numerous countries that don’t have extradition. Trump’s problem is that he pissed many of them off while in office. My best guess would be Montenegro would be the friendliest to Trump.

That was the real mistake of January 6. If 10% of that crowd had gone there to do business, things would be much different now. I doubt there will be another opportunity.

I do think that the protesters dragging out half of the congress critters inside and using that guillotine they had out front (or was it a gallows?) would have solved a lot of this nation’s problems. At the very least, the politicians would be a lot nicer.
