The US has a history of being an unreliable ally. Just ask Afghanistan. Or Vietnam. So it’s no surprise that South Korea is having some doubts about the commitment that the US has made to defend them. So when Biden announces that US nuclear armed submarines will be docking in South Korea is a sign that the US will extend its nuclear umbrella to that country, I’m sure they are taking it with a HUGE grain of salt.

It’s the same reason why the Philippines says that US bases in their nation can’t be used for offensive operations.

On one hand, the early Presidents warned against foreign entanglements. We really should not be making these promises.

On the other hand, our foreign policy has been downright schizophrenic, especially in the wake of 2020 where the administration’s narrative has been ‘burn down everything the Bad Orange Man built’. That’s not good for any kind of lasting agreements.

I’ve been pointing that out for 20 years to people as a forewarning about the long-term consequences, and mostly gettig shit on for it as an “anti-American”. Well now, here we are where it is finally too obvious to deny. Ukraine will end up proving bigly that being an ally (a word that is defined rather oddly by the state department, I think) of America is a kiss of death. It already has really – scores of Ukrainian men and boys have been sacrificed for this folly – and we’ve not yet seen the final denouement there, even as we spin up stupid new conflicts in Sudan and God knows where else.

And the most insulting part is the American ruling class that gave the orders was never serious about supporting Ukraine, they were straight up using the place and it’s people as a means to an end. Having all but failed in the ostensible mission, now they’ll discard it as readily and blithely as a used tampon. That has become the trademark MO of the neocons.

Kissinger even had a quote about how being a enemy of America is dangerous, but being a freind is deadly. And he should know, being the granddaddy of neocon “diplomats”. USFedgov and MIC have been turning everything they touch (by spreading “democracy”) to shit since the Korean War. It hasn’t gotten worse, just more obvious. But, that is the business of empires. Which is why this place never should’ve become one.

Now that we’re in the downward phase, the paybacks are going to be a bitch, and we have already begun to see the discontented turning against the big shit disturber that this country has become via it’s arrogant and out of control govt.

Be of good cheer, you can see the strange alliances forming up against GAE and won’t be gobsmacked when it goes live.
Egg on face for FUSA as China brokers peace in the Kraine only for it to be shot down by true South Africa believer Brandon’s handlers.
