11 Republicans have joined Democrats in an Amnesty Bill for illegal immigrants, called the “Dignity Act of 2025.” It offers 7-year, renewable legal status with work authorization to illegal immigrants who pay $7,000 in restitution. In other words, amnesty. Give it a few years, and illegals will have full voting rights, and you as a taxpayer will be funding it forever.

Donald Trump was voted into office on one major platform- curbing illegal immigration. In response, Republicans are doing what they have always done in response to gun control: They pay lip service to a voting bloc, whether that bloc is gun owners or those opposing illegal immigration, get elected on that platform, then as soon as it becomes politically convenient to do so, turn their backs on those groups who elected them.

My prediction is this: If this bill gets passed, it is the end of the MAGA movement. Those who voted for its promises will disengage, myself included. There is no point in electing Republicans, if those Republicans will simply vote for the exact same things as Democrats. The result is the same, the only difference is who gets to cash in on sweet taxpayer graft.

Let this pass, and I won’t vote in another election. Not ever.

Not surprised to see Mike Lawler supporting this BS bill. Hope all these traitors lose their seats in the midterms.

Barbarus · February 6, 2026 at 6:36 pm

We have very much the same problem in Britain. People voted for the the Conservative party repeatedly for fourteen years and got some promises but, in fact, the same ghastly policies the Labour party was pushing. So some of us gave up and voted for the new Reform party. Result, the right wing vote was split between Reform and Conservatives, and Labour won. So we are still getting the same policies; giving away Diego Garcia, ongoing illegal immigration etc. etc..
Polls show Reform stand a good chance of winning next time, so now a lot of Conservative politicians are leaving and going to Reform. So by then, if things keep going as they are, Reform could form the next government but the same people will still be doing the same things whatever Reform’s policy statements say.

I’m pretty much done with voting.

Texas Dan · February 6, 2026 at 7:17 pm

There is no MAGA, it was only a pause button to get ready for the tribulation. Are you ready?

Michael · February 6, 2026 at 7:29 pm

They don’t fear us voting them out.

CONgress (spelling intentional) approval rating at a new “high” of 29%

CONgress (spelling intentional) a reelection rate of 95%

The powers that be SELECT the “candidates” for you and I to “Vote” for. Twiddle Dee or Tweedle Dumb, aka the “lesser evil” sad trombone.

Or as Gomer Pyle USMC might say “Surprise, Suprise, Suprise”.

But HEY! We have the SUPERBOWL and bad bunny….

That tree is dead I suspect.

Chutes Magoo · February 6, 2026 at 8:01 pm

You still vote?

    Carrie · February 6, 2026 at 8:21 pm

    Hahaha

    I thought the same thing!

I haven’t voted in any election (state, local, or national) since 2016 and have NO intentions of taking up that bad habit ever again.

      ghostsniper · February 7, 2026 at 9:05 am

50 years as an adult and I have never voted.

It’s the most insane behavior in world history.

To actively choose someone to rule over you.

Votists ardently pick their favorite criminal politicians to massively steal from them and their kids, over and over again, never learning.

      Most retarded thing ever.

Toastrider · February 6, 2026 at 8:53 pm

My money is on it dying in committee with no movement. Too many things the Dems would insist on removing.

Still, no one ever went broke betting on Congress being stupid and corrupt…

Georgiaboy61 · February 6, 2026 at 9:46 pm

If voting made any real difference, they wouldn’t let us do it…

Michael · February 7, 2026 at 6:25 am

In a world driven by media, propaganda (but I repeat myself) and “feeeeeeelings” by way too many folks (even here, sigh) why are we PROUD of NOT VOTING?

Did you not READ about this funny thing called the American Revolution and that weird “Taxation without representation” stuff?

Those who VOTE for a LIVING (Free SHIT ARMY) don’t mind less competition. Half of their EFFORTS is to REDUCE or Eliminate the anti-socialists.

You know STEAL the VOTE, Margin of CHEAT needed and all that. Let US make it simpler by fleeing the field.

In case you didn’t notice the politicians, who USE ALL of the ABOVE to get obedience from the voting masses are THRILLED when folks that would NEVER VOTE FOR THEM SURRENDER the Field.

But, But, But the SYSTEM is Broken, Corrupted and so on.

So, we just take our ball and bat and go home?

Heavens forbid we actually do anything about it. Superbowls here…

If voting doesn’t work, vote harder.

      Michael · February 7, 2026 at 6:35 am

      https://mydailykona.blogspot.com/2026/02/the-day-police-were-no-longer-needed.html

So just stop and WAIT, eh?

It’s not going to get better.

        Divemedic · February 7, 2026 at 8:33 am

Of course it isn’t going to get better. This national ship is sinking. Voting at this point is like the passengers on a sinking ship voting for the water to stop flooding in.

          Michael · February 7, 2026 at 9:20 am

Sadly, we happen to agree, and I hope you have a serious lifeboat friend.

So many self-avowed lone wolves against tribes that have proven violence training, not going to be pretty. You have to sleep sometime no matter how incompetent (as so many say around the blogs) a single successful bottle of flaming but mostly peaceful is going to ruin most well prepped homes.

I need to discuss with my firemen buddies what procedures they have for lithium solar battery’s. I suspect it’s the same as a flaming EV, keep the flames from burning other buildings if possible.

I’m not looking forward to seeing Bosnia’s ethnic cleansing here in America. Really ugly when you find out the one that betrayed you was family or neighbor.

    ghostsniper · February 7, 2026 at 9:11 am

You can’t be as naïve as you’re making it seem.

Participating in a criminal proceeding makes the participant an accessory.

90% of societal ills are created by politicians that would not exist if not for the gullible votists.

Birdog357 · February 7, 2026 at 8:27 am

It won’t be the end of MAGA, but it will be the end of the Republican party. There’s a grass roots revolution going on in my state. We the people are absolutely pissed with the Republican supermajority. The following was penned by someone else in my county, for comparison sake, the population of our county is only 23.5k and local insiders and the state up to the governor have done their damndest to over rule home rule and ram industrial solar and data centers down our throats. They allowed utilities to increase rates to pay for infrastructure upgrades for data centers and utility bills in my region are increasing by 50-150%. I’m seeing copies of homeowner’s utility bills that are $800+ when they are normally below $300. I used less power and gas this month than I did 1 year ago and my bill is %50 higher.

36 people have filed to run for Republican Convention Delegate in [redacted] County.
That alone should tell you something.
In a small, rural county, that level of interest doesn’t happen unless a lot of people are frustrated with how things are currently being done inside the local Republican Party. As interest grew, many current party insiders and precinct committee members also filed. That matters — because control of delegate seats is how influence is protected and maintained inside the party.
What is a Republican convention delegate?
Convention delegates are elected countywide and represent Starke County at the Indiana Republican State Convention.
At that convention, delegates:
Vote on state party leadership
Influence party rules and direction
Help determine who holds real influence within the party
These are not ceremonial positions. Delegates vote, and those votes shape the party from the inside.
Why this race matters
If you’re unhappy with:
A small inner circle controlling decisions
Lack of transparency or accountability
Being shut out of the process unless you’re “in the club”
This is one of the earliest and most effective places where change can begin.
You don’t fix party problems at the top first — you fix them from the bottom up.
How this works
8 delegates will be selected
Selection is based on countywide votes
The candidates below are the ones voters will choose from.
Some of these candidates are part of the existing leadership circle.
Some are not.
That distinction matters.
For context: what happened in 2024
In the 2024 Republican primary, there were 10 candidates on the ballot for “Vote for 8 – State Convention Delegate At-Large.”
Only two people did not advance.
The eight selected in 2024 were:
[redacted] – 1,617
[redacted] – 1,496
[redacted] – 1,459
[redacted] – 1,370
[redacted] – 1,365
[redacted] – 1,313
[redacted] – 1,290
[redacted] – 1,200
Who from 2024 is running again in 2026
Of the eight delegates selected in 2024, most are running again
For additional context, [redacted] currently serves as the county party Vice Chair and leads the Republican Women’s group.
Why that comparison matters
2024: 10 candidates competing for 8 seats
2026: 36 candidates competing for the same 8 seats
That’s not normal for a rural county — and it signals that more Republicans are paying attention and want a say in who represents [redacted] County inside the party.
Republican Convention Delegate candidates ([redacted] County)
(In no particular order)
[36 names redacted]
(I am also on the ballot, but this post is not about asking for votes — it’s about making sure people understand why this race matters.)
Bottom line
If you want:
New voices
More accountability
A party that actually listens to its grassroots
This is one of the first doors you can push on.
Ignore races like this, and nothing changes.
Pay attention — and real change becomes possible
And after this in 2028 folks will need to run for an pay attention to the PC seats

    Divemedic · February 7, 2026 at 8:37 am

It doesn’t matter. Sorry, but no matter who is elected or becomes a delegate, nothing will change. We have seen that time and time again, but at the end of the day, the people elected still wind up supporting status quo ante.

Even if they vote for change, there is still the small matter of $40 trillion in debt, another $100 trillion of unfunded liabilities, and an electorate that isn’t interested in giving up their pet projects. It’s insurmountable. There is no reform possible.

James · February 7, 2026 at 8:39 am

Voting doesn’t count, really depends on how one votes, consider say voting .308,your numbers may differ.

Trump lost me the moment he bombed Iran, at the behest of Israel. I will still vote my WA mail in ballot, but it will be write in for every candidate, so as to deny the use of my ballot for fraud.

The young, working class low propensity voters that came out and gave him his popular vote win in 2024 are gone, and a good percentage have switched back to voting Democrat. Every special election in 2025 and the last one in Texas saw MASSIVE vote swings. What you see in VA is a direct result of this vote swing. Some PA county seats that had been Republican for 30 years flipped to Democrats in 2025.

GOP is about to experience a bloodbath of biblical proportions. House and Senate will flip, and on 7 Jan 2027, the moment the new Democrat house gavels into session, the impeachments will commence. Not just Trump, either, most of his cabinet will be as well.

All of this could have been avoided, if Trump would have done what he ran on and told the Israel lobby to get bent. He didn’t, he went MIGA instead of MAGA, and that is going to get him thrown in prison.

I knew the US was done on election night 2008, when doctrinaire Marxist Obama was elected. I never counted on Trump to be anything more than our bull in their china shop, but he can’t even do that right.

I want Vlad the Impaler as my next populist candidate, and won’t settle for anything less but heads on pikes along I-95 from Miami to north of Boston.

    James · February 7, 2026 at 11:05 am

I am north of Boston in N.H.

I have a chain saw(many) and some draw knives, can help out with that!

The reason to keep voting is to try to slow the rate of decline. We’re just trying to extend how long it taks the maggots to devour the corpse. It’s not to fix the systems, it’s to postpone th collapse.
