For every US election, we knew the results within hours of the polls closing. Even the great contested election of 2000 saw the results being posted within hours. Until 2020, that is. Now all of a sudden, the White House is claiming that it will take days to know the results.

For weeks, the polls have been showing a Republican landslide. The President has a -23 presidential approval index. History tells us that the incumbent President’s party always does poorly in the midterm elections, especially in times of economic downturn. If there is any result other than the Democrats taking a beating, you will know for sure that there are shenanigans. Doubly so if it takes days or weeks to get the results out.

Note sure if this will be another exercise in writing letters to Santa or some epiphany on the collective thinking. And then what after most hopeful outcome???
Yes perhaps we could perhaps enact sane policies/relations but the insane psychopaths (redundant) are way ahead of all. Until we rid our official policy groups of this neocon/fascist ideology no reasonable outside relations are possible.
Me, me, me… do the few extremist elements of state department represent interests of our country, hmmm maybe not. Think about that…
Did you not learn this by 3rd grade?

Let us not forget the basic truth about “elections”

“It’s not who votes, it’s who counts the votes”

I’m in Canada and work banned any work travel to the US this week because of the high likelihood of political violence.

I was unaware of this until a few days ago:
An article at WND today pointed out that the election counting ends at midnight on election day. It’s from a SCOTUS ruling in 1997 that was a 9-0 decision.
https://www.wnd.com/2022/11/scotus-federal-elections-end-midnight-election-day/

So any counting beyond midnight is illegal, not that illegality ever bothered the swamp/left.
