This is what a Harris rally looks like:
It’s obvious what her plan for getting elected is, and there is nothing that Trump can offer to people who are entertained by this. It’s all about “vote for me because I am black.”
Idiocracy is here.

As I understand it the Dems haven’t done HER required Paperwork as of yet to BE the candidate.
They did the “Bait and Switch” on their own voters about the Potato, why not a double play?
Eather that or they are doing the Hoover Hat Trick again to drop the Greater Depressions, America’s Bankruptcy on the Republicans AGAIN.
After all THAT got them FDR the Socialist IN for 4 TERMS during WW2.
Just how packed would be the Supreme Court after that?
Eather way the fixed income folks and most of the rest of us are going to see inflation-hyperinflation destroy us as the 41K “Stock Market” gets to correct itself.
Yeah, the stock and bond market affect everything even those “Not IN” the market. Just look at real stories about the Great Depression for details.

I know it’s hard, but you really need tk chil out on the pessimism. You don’t know what the future holds and constantly predicting doom and gloom is not a healthy outlook. -I think Trump is going to trounce any Dem they throw at him, however I am still making regular purchases of beans, bandaids and bullets, cuz , hey , you never know.

So tell me how you see the US pulling out of this. We are currently $35 trillion in the hole, with another $200 trillion in promised payouts to Social Security, Medicare, and other entitlement spending. No politician on either side will ever vote to cut those programs, because anyone who even approaches them can measure the remainder of their political career in terms of days.
It doesn’t matter who you vote for, that isn’t changing. This means that the money train will eventually go off the rails. When that happens, the people will be PISSED. What do you think will happen when there is widespread unrest because the EBT cards are no longer funded?
So with that in mind, just how do you see a path forward that preserves this nation?
I know its tough to admit that, but that is where we are. I am not pessimistic, I am realistic. There is no voting for a solution to this mess that was over a century in the making, because there isn’t a realistic answer.

I’ve said for years that there is no voting our way back, there will be violence and LOTS of it. The Uniparty has destroyed this country. Some states or group of states may survive, but America is dead, the heart is too big to stop instantly, but it is stopping soon.

Clearance sale….everything must go!
Collapse of the US economy will bring down the rest of the world economies as well.
If you’re still optimistic that “things will work out” then your thinking is hope based, not reality based.
The US government has spent several generations of revenue from not yet born taxpayers running up historical/unprecedented levels of debt.
There is no recovery without a total fire sale of existing global debt.

This reminds me of a Ron White joke. When on a 2 engine plane and one engine fails, a woman asks, “How far can we go on one engine?”
He responds, “All the way to the crash site”
It always feels like we are a few months to a few years away from collapse, and somehow we keep limping along. Of course it has to come to a reckoning at some point. But there are a lot of deflection/stalling techniques to employ. It feels like WW3 would be a great realignment opportunity, and if we came out on top, we loot the world’s spoils and stay afloat for years more to come. We lose and we’re done. It will be state by state on the success and survival of folks. Then the conditions are ripe for CW. Maybe election issues (real or perceived) kick off CW, and then it it’s WW3, while we’re preoccupied with ourselves. Who knows but none of it sounds good. I’ll consider myself fortunate if I can reach retirement before all of this.

So because YOU can’t see it, that means there’s no way out. Got it. Maybe there isn’t, maybe there is, but being resigned to failure guarantees there isn’t.
Divemedic · August 4, 2024 at 4:35 pm
So enlighten us. What possible, realistic scenario do you see?
How will any politician find a way to keep spending like this?
Will people understand when they are told their social security money has been spent and the program is ending?
Tell me how, in your mind, the nation survives this?
Because blind Polyanna optimism doesn’t change math, nor will it make people accept that their money is gone.

Shake it baybee, twerk that thang.
Walking around money, airline liquor bottles, EBT cards, gram weed packs for all CPUSA (D) voters.
Si se puede!
I think we’re going to need to plant some more Magic Soil.
(apologies to the great Roy Scheider)
