I continue to work on my issue. I have until the end of April, which is when the medications run out. I have received no fewer than 50 emails on the subject, and they are therefore too numerous to answer individually because of my work schedule. I thank each and every one of you who have emailed, messaged, and posted comments.

There has been a major breakthrough, and it appears as though I have solved the problem by getting rid of the insurance company that caused the problem in the first place. I will know more in the next few days. More to follow.

I feel terrible that someone like you who has helped so many people is now hung out to dry. This should never happen.

I currently have two- the one I prefer, and a backup in the event that one doesn’t work.

I am also having insurance problems. I have a United Healthcare Medicare Advantage who recently dropped my Urologist and now I have learned they have dropped my Vision group from their network. My copay went from $35 to $75 with no warning. If you have any insight as to why an insurance company would drop a medical group, please share.

What you are seeing is that they dropped the provider’s tier level, perhaps from tier 1 or 2 down to a 3. That still allows you to see them, but at a higher rate. In my case, they completely removed my doctor from the payment system, which means that I can’t see them at ANY price.

In the case of the Urologist, I had to pay the full office visit charge. $150. Sounds dropped.
