The reason my posts for the last couple of days have not been topical is due to one simple fact: I am avoiding the news and reading current events. The wall to wall coverage of the election just got to be too much. It’s a constant barrage of ads for Amendment 3, Amendment 4, and a slew of attack ads for one politician or another.
I miss the political ads where candidates put forth their political positions, but those days are gone. Instead, the only real issue for Democrats is abortion. The only issue for Republicans is that they hate Democrats. The only issue for Harris is that she isn’t Trump. Then there are the ugly comments from both sides, each side calling the other names, then the left complains that they are being attacked.
I just couldn’t do it anymore, so I decided to clean my guns, clean the house, load some magazines, and get a bunch of projects done around the house. I haven’t turned on a TV in over a week.
The election only has two possible outcomes:
- The cheat steals the election, tosses Trump in a camp, and begins their 2025 revenge tour, or
- (less likely) Trump wins, the left loses their collective shit, and the riots start

For me, it is not so much hating Democrats as it is believing that they actually mean to do what they say they will do to people like me, who have seen them try to do harm to me and mine, and to break as much of what makes America function as a nation as they can.
I have come to believe that when someone tells me that I am their mortal enemy, that I should believe them, and prepare to be attacked in such time as they may choose.

If someone says that you are their enemy, then lists all of the things that they would like to do to you, why wouldn’t you believe them?

I’m feeling good about option 2 for a few reasons. Several groups that would not normally support a Republican have come out to support Trump. Here in MI, Muslims are backing him, which may swing the state in his favor, especially in extremely blue Wayne county. Blacks too as a higher percentage. And the RNC has been proactive at calling BS ahead of the election potentially stopping some shenanigans. And conservatives have come out in force with early voting.
He has a good shot at taking the EC. But of course the Dems and the machine will still fight back. Expect lawsuits, and I’m hearing about Dems not certifying the election, which is funny because that was part of the complaint against Republicans and the J6 debacle.

I hope you are right, for all of our sakes. I just think that there are too many people who know exactly what will happen if he does take office. They will cheat, and if that doesn’t work, he will be assassinated.

I am really hesitant to even respond, simply because I do not want to piss anyone off. And I would not even know where to start, just so much going on. Seed planting – did you ever watch the “Inauguration of JBiden” – why is it the only Presidential Inauguration held at Arlington National Cemetery with a Military Funeral procession?

Yeah, they gonna cheat but there have been some recent court rulings that made it harder. Not to mention a lot more attention being paid. As for assassination? That would likely be the worst thing possible for the deep state. It would definitely be “game on” at that point and it wouldn’t matter the letter after the name. Hell, they all slop from the same trough so there really isn’t a difference anymore.
Most of the folks I know just want to keep some of what they work for and are tired of seeing it handed over to a bunch of illegals and locally grown riff raff.They see Trump as the ONLY possible way out of the current death spiral of the USA. Not sure he will be the savior everyone hopes for, but he beats hell out of the alternative.
Wednesday I have to make a trip to the city for a doctors appointment. In addition to my Ruger P-95 EDC, I’ll be including my S&W 686P as a “back up”. Better to have and not need than the reverse.

Over the last cpl months I’ve come around more and more to the belief that they WILL let him take office. What they WON’T let him do is govern. Y’know, a lot like last time.

That is why I took the TV out of my house 25 years ago. I have NOT missed a single item of importance. My kids always ask why we never had a TV in our house growing up. NO we are not Amish. Just sick and tired of that stupid sh*t.

Just completed a project of loading empty mags and swapping range ammo out for self-defense rounds.
Not watching any election returns as has been my norm for past few years. The wife and I will go to bed at regular time and get up tomorrow to see which side is having the worst conniptions.

For the same reasons I am avoiding any social media where I can. We have gone past the point of saying well gosh my guy did not win and lets see if we can still work and live togeather. One side sees the other as taking away “rights” The other side deliberately wants to take as much power as they can. And they all really belong to the same establishment. They get theirs no matter what, and we are chasing dog whistles out here instead of paying attention to what’s really going on.

Well, here it is and me needing to get back home to Texas. Now to plot a course to there bypassing the insanity/communist riots centers. Used to just carry one, now to mount several within reach all around the truck. hmmm
