A recent poll found that the majority of Democrats favor socialism. That doesn’t surprise anyone. What surprises me is that they now admit it openly.

It shouldn’t. There’s been steady work over the past decade or so to redefine socialism as the welfare state. The rank and file want more entitlement programs so they’re gonna be in for a big shock when the leadership delivers sclerotic state run central planning.
Their disappointed outrage will keep me warm during those cold gulag nights.

If they would admit it, we have socialism in our healthcare, education and electrical power industries. How’s that working?
