Let Them Eat Cake

Two days ago, I was worried that Biden was nationalizing the banks. Nope. The reality is even worse. The Biden administration is only ensuring that depositors who support the Democrats are being bailed out. The rest of America can just fuck right off, as far as this administration is concerned. Janet Yellen announced that the Treasury will NOT be bailing out large depositors in any banks that collapse in the future. This is causing a MASSIVE run on small and mid sized banks as depositors rush to get their money out and into larger banks like Chase, BoA, and Wells Fargo, while simultaneously causing stock holders in the banking industry to sell their holdings like they are worthless, which they soon will be. What you are seeing is the early stages of the destruction of the US banking sector.

What makes this even scarier is when you ask yourself why they are doing this? It’s almost like it is deliberate, and it’s also as if the Democrats aren’t worried about consequences. The last time the Democrats acted so unconcerned, they stole the 2020 election.

Even scarier is that it’s happening everywhere, not just the USA.

Violence Becomes More Likely Than Not

With the news that law students and faculty at Stanford Law School shouted down a visiting appeals court justice, preventing him from delivering the speech that he had been asked to give at the school, we see that even prestigious law schools don’t want to hear from anyone from the other side of the political aisle.

Couple that with faculty and students being attacked by a virtual lynch mob of other students because of their political beliefs, I just can’t see any other possible result on the horizon than the outbreak of outright hostilities.

The ever increasing animosity and violence has been ramping up for years. Reminiscent of the period before the Civil War when fistfights erupted on the floor of Congress. Outside of Congress, people would attack and beat their Representatives in the street.

Even Politico sees the parallels between now and the 1850’s. The difference here is that Politico is blaming the right for the violence, and using the attack on Paul Pelosi as evidence. Of course, we know that the Pelosi attack was his gay lover attacking Pelosi. Even if you DON’T believe the gay lover story, there is no evidence that the attack had anything to do with politics.

Even in the days before the American Revolution, there was violence. Keep in mind that in those days, those who lived in North America were all of the same country. That didn’t stop British soldiers from raping and killing local women. Colonists would tar and feather tax collectors before burning down the tax collector’s house.

Wars between citizens of a same country are especially bitter because of the similarities between combatants. Like a couple that has been married for too long, each party knows how to hurt the other, and they do.

In the current day conflict, we are seeing an extension of the conflict of the Civil War: does one side in a political debate have the power to force the other side to do their bidding? The Civil War was one of country farmers in the south versus the industrial city dwellers of the north. The south didn’t have the industrial base to win the war. In today’s case, it will be the country and suburban counties versus the heavily populated cities. Will the cities have the industrial base to win?

Who knows, but the last Civil War was the bloodiest we have ever had. The next one will be even worse.

The Question that Unravels Us

This morning, I saw a stary about how the Democrat party in Florida is being torn apart. The problem is this- there are two factions in the Democrat party. On the one side, you have the hardcore left. They want full on communism, they want the woke agenda- including trannies chasing after kids while wagging their dicks at them. On the other side of the party, you have the party base- they are the people who want the government to care for them without being too overbearing. They want to raise their kids. The base is largely patriotic, and even if me and my readers don’t agree with them, we really aren’t that different from one another.

The two sides don’t see the same things when they look at America, and it’s tearing the party to pieces. The hardcore left is leaving Florida because the mainstream Democratic party isn’t far enough to the left. This group is headed to Washington, California, Massachusetts, the lefty bastions.

The same thing is happening to the Republicans. The establishment Republicans, represented by the likes of McCain, Romney, and other Socialist Republicans are staying put in the lefty bastions. The more rightward leaning of the party is headed to places like Texas and Florida.

This perfectly explains what is happening to our voting patterns.

The left often says that, “If the founding fathers could have seen all of today’s crime, they never would have ratified the Second Amendment.” I hear that all of the time from the antigun side, and I agree with them.

The entire reason that the Second Amendment, or the rest of the Bill of Rights, exists is that some states refused to sign the Constitution. The early opponents of the Constitution, the “Antifederalists,” demanded that the Constitution contain a Bill of Rights that explicitly guaranteed that individual rights were protected and liberty remained with the people. The pro-Constitution “Federalists” like James Madison and George Washington viewed such a Bill of Rights as unnecessary and feared that any rights neglected might permanently deprive people of those rights.

They were both right.

Among the opponents was George Mason, a delegate from Virginia. George Mason countered that a national, consolidated government would overburden Virginians with direct taxes in addition to state taxes, and that government of an extensive territory must necessarily destroy liberty. He nailed that one.

So today, we see that the nation is polarized because the national government is no longer representative of the people that it is attempting to govern. We see it in the patterns that have emerged since 2020, the ones I pointed out, above.

This was caused by the one thing that Madison, Mason, Washington, and all of the others simply overlooked. It’s the issue that was the underlying cause of the Civil War, and one that the war didn’t really settle: Can a state, once it has been admitted to the Union, withdraw? There is no process outlined in our founding documents that states no, yet there is no process that outlines how it would be accomplished, either.

It has long been my opinion that, had the Virginia delegates known at the time that joining the Union was irrevocable, they would never have done so, and the Bill of Rights would never have existed. Instead, we are faced with the question once again, as it was never really resolved by the last Civil War.

As this nation becomes more polarized, we will once again debate the question. It will be far bloodier than the last time, unless we can agree that maybe it is time that we go our separate ways.

Teaching Pigs to Sing

A report has come out, showing that math and reading proficiency dropped nationwide during the COVID lockdowns. Maryland students have the lowest test scores in reading and math of any US state or territory, with only 19 percent of Maryland students performing math that is appropriate for their grade level. Some schools in Baltimore had NO students who were proficient in math.

It doesn’t take long to figure out why. The scores are available online. It isn’t that the test is too hard or that teachers in general aren’t doing their jobs- there are schools in Maryland that had 91% of students proficient in math. In general, whites and Asians score higher on standardized tests than do other races, and the more affluent a student is, the higher the test scores.

The 5 cities with the best scores (racial makeup, median household income) were:

  • Bethesda: 88 percent white and Asian, $173K
  • Ellicott City: 83 percent white and Asian, $136K
  • Clarksville: 87 percent white and Asian, $161K
  • Rockville 68 percent white and Asian, $116K
  • Glenelg 88 percent white and Asian $181K

Some would see that and think that there was racism involved. That is what “equity” is all about- looking at outcomes, then trying to make them the same, but that is simply saying that correlation means causation. Instead, let’s look at the correlation and see if we can find the causation.

Parents who make more money do so because they value education, hard work, or some other trait. That doesn’t always mean college- it can mean trade school, learning to run a business, something. Those parents are also clever or intelligent, which is inheritable. The point is, parents who make money tend to impart the values that made them successful upon their children. Parents who are not successful pass their traits on as well. So children in affluent households tend to be successful. The children in poor households tend to be less successful.

How do you fix this? School and teachers can’t. Teachers who are with a student for less than 1100 hours a year can’t fix 18 years bad parenting coupled with the handicap of losing the genetic lottery. All of the programs in the world won’t turn a student with a 75 IQ and no motivation into a scholastically successful person. In that case, you are doing nothing more than trying to teach a pig to sing.

The other thing that I would like to point out is that the response to COVID had an effect on an entire generation of students, who lost learning opportunities that will hurt them in lost learning gains, thereby affecting them for their entire lives. The knowledge gap that they have as a result of missing a year or more of school will cause them to play catchup for years.

Crenshaw

Make up your own mind as to how you react to a Republican congressman saying that other Republicans are terrorists because they won’t install McCarthy as speaker.

If you don’t want to get into the Octagon and get punched in the face and don’t get into the Octagon, that’s how I feel about it. I mean, this is because there’s no good faith here. The good faith has been lost. We keep talking about good faith. And then they want to play victim. No. No. So now I’m not going to apologize for harsh language. You guys know me. That’s how I am. I speak boldly. You know, and this is this is. This is terrorism tactics.

Show Trials

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are likely not on the side of freedom, but both have committed the same crime: being counterrevolutionary. For that, they must and will be destroyed.

Musk’s allowing free speech on Twitter cannot be permitted to stand, the left will destroy him. He will be removed from Twitter’s chair, or investors and the government will destroy all of his businesses.

For similar reasons, Trump will be prosecuted. As I have said for two years, Trump needs to flee. They won’t stop until he is in prison or dead.

It’s the next step in color revolutions per the CIA insurgency manual- counter revolutionaries must be eliminated.

If a man worth $200 billion cam be brought down, what chance does any of us have? We now know that the Intelligence Community has overthrown the legitimate government and seized power, using Biden as the front man. This is the most dangerous time in US history.

I Don’t Care

So there is a lot of noise being made this morning about Musk banning certain reporters from Twitter. The claim is that Musk is a hypocrite because he claims to support free speech. Keep in mind that the bans are being done because multiple reporters have been tweeting out the location of Musk’s family, and the direct result of this was an attempt on Musk’s child’s life. Any parent would be pissed.

This is how the left operates. They have a bunch of public faces who don’t directly engage in violence, but who actively support violent acts. We see this as Antifa hiding within crowds of protesters. They are free to act as violent as they want, while other parties stand there and wait for a violent response from their target, so they can release carefully edited video making the counter attacking victims appear to be the ones who initiated the violence.

The opening shots of the war have been fired. There are already hundreds of casualties, and hundreds more being held as political prisoners. The left only claims principles like free speech matter when they can use that principle to attack those with whom they disagree. They couldn’t care one hairy rat’s ass about free speech. Let me illustrate. This reporter was mobbed and beaten while covering a drag queen story hour, her phone was stolen.

She tried to get another reporter to call 911. He refused while the protesters taunted her:

The answers to that on Twitter illustrate why there will be no care from me about hypocrisy. At this point, it is war. We need to win, and that is all that matters, because if we don’t, the other side won’t give on whit about your rights, about what is fair, or about anything else.

Fuck em, that’s why. Elon- ban away.

Also, please note that the entire Interstate 5 corridor from the Canadian border south to Eugene, Oregon (including all of Washington State) is an active combat zone. There have been more than a dozen documented fatalities in this area that are directly related to insurgent activity. Government authority has either effectively or openly sided with the insurgents and is providing them with active support. Anyone in these areas is advised that violence is occurring and will continue to occur in these areas, and for this reason the area should be avoided. Use of force in self defense will result in arrest. These areas are completely out of legitimate governmental control and can best be described as being behind enemy lines.

Vindication

In September of 2020, NPR accused Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani of colluding with the Russians and Rupert Murdoch to fake the Hunter Biden laptop story. That was followed just a few weeks later by NBC discrediting a story from March of 2020 that Hunter Biden was also involved with back door deals to sell access to then Vice-President Biden to foreign governments, including the Chinese.

During the Presidential debates that year, then candidate Biden accused President Trump of colluding with a foreign government, the Russians, to discredit him. The CIA and FBI backed Biden up on this, followed by CNN. It came to be that the discussion of the material was shut down by Twitter and Facebook, which effectively banned the story from public political discourse.

As a result of these accusations, Rudy Giuliani was disbarred by the New York Bar.

Not only does it appear that the entire story was true, but it also appears that the news media and social media companies were actively working at the behest of the FBI and the CIA to change the outcome of the 2020 election. These companies included the New York Post, NBC, CNN, CBS, Twitter, and Facebook. At this point, we can assume that the entire election was engineered and manipulated by government intelligence agencies, and so is social media. None of it can be trusted. It isn’t new that the press has put their thumb on the political scales. What is truly concerning is that branches of the government itself are consolidating power.

As I pointed out in December of 2020 over at Joe Huffman’s place, our nation was the target of a coup. A prominent blogger laughed it off and mocked me for it. It’s clear that this was indeed the case. So now the question rears its head: What do we do about it? What CAN we do about it?

Let’s hope that history has a happy ending in this case.

Falling Apart

Some J6 protesters pled guilty to trespassing in the Capitol for 30 minutes and got as much as 15 months in prison. The reasoning that the judge gave? “There is no mob without members of the mob.” Doesn’t the same reasoning hold up for the left? If you are a leftist and firebomb a police car, you get 15 months in prison.

Should you get caught filming a leftist who is in the process of committing violent felonies, that leftist has the right to commit strong armed robbery against you and steal your camera equipment. At least that is what the judge in the case had to say.

Now comes word that the Republicans are adopting the same tactics of ballot harvesting and ballot box stuffing used by the Democrats. This is anything but good news. Now that it is out in the open that elections are nothing but a game that all sides are cheating, the elections and our government have less and less legitimacy every day.

Our legal system, our government, our very nation is based upon the idea that its citizens know believe that things are just and fair. As soon as the citizens no longer believe that, the entire society will collapse.

Buy ammo, lay in supplies, trade goods, and precious metals. I have a feeling that you are going to need them.
