Islamic rule expaned into Europe in the Dark Ages not long after the fall of Rome. The muslims were finally removed from Spain, their last European stronghold, in the 1400s just as the the Renaissance was peaking. History doesn’t repeat, but it could be rhyming. Maybe we’ll see the rise of Islam from this point on. A bad period will follow. If the spread of Islam is reversed once again, maybe the West will recover (long after all of us are gone).

Some of the West is practically conquered already; Great Britain, the EU, Sweden, etc. There are hints of people wanting to fight back, but their government prevents them and promotes the islamists.
If America capitulates in the same fashion, I’m not sure who would be left to mount the recovery. Japan, China? They seem to be the only nations that explicitly disallow Islam to spread. It would be another crusade, and take centuries to overturn.

There are far too many Christians who support the unlimited flow of Turd World types into this country. Some truly believe in the Biblical call to help the less fortunate, some want to get a cut of all the money being offered to illegals, and another group claims that they want to convert these savages to Christianity.
I see the naivety of the first group on display at the church that I attend. There is no compassion for the growing number of homeless veterans who are killing themselves, just foreigners.
Too many of the local churches are going for the financial windfall from sponsoring these rapeugees, although very few(if any) of the pastors want to house them in their own homes.
I can understand the desire to make money; I made very good money as a lead designer and was not ashamed of doing so.
The worst group is the multitude who say that they want to bring these people to Christ. Yes, there a few people in our church who sincerely believe that; these nice people are the gullible ones that think the nice Nigerian princes are sincerely offering money. We’ve had several people taken by these charlatans.
Frankly, I doubt that more than a small percentage of the church leaders actually think these invaders have any interest in converting. They are sincere Islamics, and nothing is going to change their views. It is just another way to fleece the sheeple in the pews.
I do respect Mamdani, though. He isn’t hiding his agenda and his vision. In one sense, that comes as a relief, especially compared to the phonys in our ruling class.

Best be prepared, pilgrims. Islam is like a rabid dog. There can be only one.

Today’s first Mass reading is from ISAIAH 58:7-10, discussing charity. It inclues a salient phrase:
“… do not turn your back on your own.”
Some translations say “your own flesh and blood.” Meaning we are not to provide charity to others at the expense of those closer to us….I believe the saying “Charity begins at home,” comes from this.
We would do well to abide by that wisdom, stop relying on government programs and stop trying to fix overseas shitholes by importing their problems.

Jesus also warned us against casting our pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot and turn on us.
That’s Islam to a ‘T’.

Not to be too much of PITA, but you left out that they’re counting down from 3 billion to 1, not 3 to 1.
More seriously, it’s always fun to see the sarcasm dripping off the page.

That Supreme Court ruling only mentioned Church and State. Said nothing about Mosque and State and certainly nothing about Synagogue and State.
