Hiring this moron is going to get someone sued or get the moron killed. I’m sure there are ways to do self help evictions of squatters, but I am betting that sending over a dude with a katana isn’t one of them. However, that isn’t the worst thing about this article. No, the worst part is this:

They create these artificial scarcities such that people who don’t have a home or any other option are forced to try to live in places where they have no legal right to live.”
Don’t you see? The fact that some people own more than their fair share of things is the reason why others have to steal and vandalize their property! You rich people are the ones who caused all of this! This is your fault! Look what you made me do!

There are winners and losers in nature. There has to be or nothing works.
Same thing with people. Not everyone can win. If you force everyone to be equal, then everyone is brought to the same low standard and nothing and no one ever gets better.

In the meantime, though, it’s quality entertainment. Oakland PD won’t show up for anything less than a guy in a hockey mask with a machete (and probably not even then). And I seriously doubt the squatters will step forward to press charges.
Still, expect California to try and stomp this guy out before too many people get ideas.

And as expected the guy is a Trust Fund Baby who grew up in a top 2% income family in Brookline, MA. Never had a real job in his life. And is not even a real lawyer. He’s a “civil rights” lawyer. Who are just cosplay lawyers. Little or no actual real world legal knowledge. Could not fight a traffic ticket.
Despite having offices in a nasty part of Oakland looks like the guy actually lives in a nice (and safe) part of Berkeley. The usual story.
95% of the people who are “militant socialists” in the SF Bay Area are either Trust Fund Babies, Rich Kids, low information idiots who grew up in affluent suburbs, or DEI grifters. The rest are criminal psychopaths. And very few of them ever had a real job in their life. Or ever will.

When we lived and worked in CA we had several vacation homes, coast and Tahoe. The houses were never rented, empty most of the time. I went over squatter eviction plans in my head regularly. Never expect help from LEOs, only charges.
Fortunately never needed to deal with it.
