There is another video of ATF agents supposedly visiting a gun owner, this time because he did a search for FRTs on Gunbroker, but didn’t purchase one:

If you will remember, there was another fake video posted just two months ago, and I blogged about it at the time. In this latest video, you see that it was posted by a Twitter user with the handle “Reno May” who identifies himself as a “Social media influencer” and claims that it is totally the real deal, and he has verified it himself.

Excuse me if I don’t believe some internet rando with no gun community chops that I have never heard of before. His Twitter account is nothing but posts trying to sell protein powder and cheap gun parts. His main advertiser is PSA. I think he is trying to chase people away from Gunbroker so he can get more sales.

Mike at MrGunsAndGear just did a video on this, via Reno. Is it fake?

    I suspect that it is.

“Social media influencer” kind-of sounds like its a fedscum psyop… just like the other one, obviously Lame, and at the (low) level of Credibility like those ‘Proud Boys’ events where everyone is Dressed the same and the Signs are professionally printed.

I don’t answer my door. It’s why I have cameras. I don’t know you, I don’t answer.

I’m surprised anybody uses GB anymore. Now days anything you want is 2x-3x MSRP at a shop or garbage priced at MSRP.

* 2x-3x MSRP more than you’d see at a shop

There are quite a few deals to be found on GB if you look around, and it also depends on what the local shops are like.

The problem isn’t that it is obviously a fake video. (Ballcaps and t-shirts is generally a giveaway. At least hire your crisis actors to look like the kids in khaki in the endless FedBoi memes, FFS.)

The problem is that the premise of the video is absolutely believable.
The bigger problem is that more and more people can’t wait to open fire at the first opportunity.

When one side keeps turning the heat up, it isn’t frogs they’re boiling. It’s corn they’re popping. Keep f**king around with folks, and eventually you’ll get liftoff, and an endless cacophony.

Visit Juarez or Nuevo Laredo sometime to see what that looks like IRL.

And the popping sound won’t be corn kernels.
