Four men, two pairs of brothers, came to Florida to enjoy the state. One returned home, and the other three were standing in the yard of their rental home, preparing to head to the airport, when the man who lived next door shot and killed all three of them. Witnesses and police say that this was a random attack, and there had been no altercation before the shots were fired.
The man who did the killings was known to police. Ahmad Bojeh was arrested in 2021 for randomly firing a gun at people and traffic. He was acquitted due to insanity and released. He was charged with felony drug charges in 2015, and resisting an officer with violence in 2020, but again, charges were dropped. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was asked whether there were any requirements or safeguards in place, given that he remained in the community and is now accused in a triple homicide. The sheriff’s office referred questions to the State Attorney’s Office, which released a statement saying it cannot comment beyond what has already been made public but will release information when it becomes pertinent.
In other words, the cops and courts didn’t do shit. Again. Our so-called justice system isn’t. It has become a jobs program for useless bureaucrats, and a green light for criminals.
The state claimed we needed red flag laws to stop people from having guns after they fell through the cracks. In other words, people just like this murderer are still killing people, even though the state now has the power to strip everyone else of their rights. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

If it was one of their officious arses that got killed he’d be locked up forever real fast.

At this stage in the collapse, vigilantism/possee is what is needed. The current legal leadership of that county are negligent of executing their oath of office. Qualified immunity be damned

I’ve been trying hard to not agree with this statement (comes with lots of consequences), but I’m having a harder and harder time every day. The story of the city of Athens TN (20-some miles south of me…) is really poignant right about now.

The choice of last resort. Right now, the selective enforcement of laws will eat you alive. Like any type of revolt, once there is a critical mass of participants that is more than the state can handle, then the solution can be fully implemented. It’s coming.

The cops did their jobs. They did arrest him on all three charges. And thy can’t act upon intel if their hands are tied by the courts and state attorneys who are responsible for not allowing his name to be on a risk list.
It was the State Attorney’s Office and the judges that screwed up, purposely. Why? Because the very people (well, their families) and liberal white women) who are the problem are the ones that elect said judges and state attorneys.

I remember when Florida’s Law Enforcement told us that they NEEDED the Red Flag Law, so they could petition the court to take guns from people who were dangerous. That wasn’t done here. Why not? In Florida, only law enforcement can file a petition for an RPO with a civil court, providing sworn statements and evidence of a person’s dangerous behavior or mental state.
An RPO should be a slam dunk if the subject isn’t sane enough to even stand trial for shooting at people, so why didn’t the cops do that here?

Still don’t believe in the death penalty?? Since the legal system (we don’t have a justice system, that’s been a lie for a LONG time) won’t deal with the problem, extra-judicial means will come into play.
These cases are the slam-dunks for capital punishment – Jury – is that you?? Yes. Taken to the courthouse steps and executed on the spot. I don’t give 2 cents about mental illness, extenuating circumstances, mitigating circumstances, etc. (as long as NOT self-defense).
I’ll carry it further. Once a person has been found guilty (similar to this case, NOT in a “circumstantial evidence” case) in a clear-cut murder case (notice this POS was KNOWN to the LE community), justice demands swift execution. (Justice delayed is justice denied). I’m also good with any do-gooder receiving same punishment.
The police are there to PROTECT the criminals. Notice that the neighborhood AND the LE community KNEW of this guy. Yet NO ONE took care of business. Why?? Because then they themselves would be prosecuted by the very system advertised “To Protect and To Serve”.

I agree with the death penalty in theory, but I’ve seen too many cops and prosecutors lie to trust them with people’s lives

The cynical would say gun control is working as intended, disarming the citizens while protecting the criminals to further the Leftist agenda
