The New Hampshire Secretary of State, a Republican, is exploring the idea that Trump can be kept off of the ballot due to the 14th Amendment. Remember when I said that was coming? The only thing I got wrong was in assuming that it would be the Democrats that did it. Holy shit, the Republicans are even more pussified than I thought.
Here it comes.
- Attorneys in Florida are suing to keep Trump off the ballot.
- ABC is pushing that theory
- NBC is at it as well
- Even the Libertarians at Reason are making the same claim
I don’t think it matters, because we all know that the fix is in, but they are all wrong. For starters, I remember all of the birthers who sued to block Obama and their lawsuits were all dismissed for lack of standing. I wonder if these lawsuits will be handled the same way.
Still, as I said, it doesn’t matter. The people who are taking over the government (or who already have) are making the move to make sure Trump doesn’t get into office. They are all singing the same song.
Removing a candidate from the ballot in order to save democracy is like raping all of the women in a town in order to protect virginity.

I said it when Hillary made her famous comment about how they would all hang – because they are all guilty of treason. Thats WHY theybare making their big move now. And make no mistake, they ARE making their big move here and now. Thats what the trials are all about.
The graft and malfeasance is coming to a head. They will be found out, and hung for treason. So double down and make their move now. Its Trumps fault, thats why they hate him so much, in that his election screwed up their plans to continue the grift, and ‘legally’ enact laws enshrining all of it. Thats what she was supposed to do (continue Obummers plan)…
Running as an outsider, he isn’t a part of that big kiddie diddling club George Carlin was talking about, he didn’t want to play along with their schemes, diddle kids and vaca on Epsteins island.

This is how big time politics really works.
The Democratic Party absolutely needs Trump on the ticket to steal the election. Does nt matter how many real voters vote for Trump and how big a majority he gets – Trump will not win the election. Absolutely guaranteed. The Deeps State will make sure of that. No matter what it takes.
The Democratic Party need Trump on the ticket to pull off the massive levels of fraud needed to steal the next election. It wont be just 5 cities in 5 states this time. Because the ruling class will back them totally. But if Trump is not on the ticket the fraud wont work. The Democratic Party will lose. No matter how many “Only Trumpers” dont turn out to vote. If Trump is not on the ticket its very unlikely the Dems will win the WH. Because of the catastrophic internal state of the party. Its even worse than during the 1890/1900’s.
You want the Dems out of the WH and to try to save the Republic then Trump cannot be on the ticket. Thats the political reality. I say this as someone who thinks Trump was a great president and will go down in history as one of the greats. But politics at this level at this time is about winning, not “Making Statements”. Insert Western Union gag here.
If you want to save the Republic and stand any chance of routing the deep state before it is too late then Trump must not be on the ticket. No matter what a great president he would make. Thats what the senior Republics you deride understand. They won elections, they win elections, they know what is needed to win future election. Dont win the election and your principals mean diddly squat. Winning is not just getting the most votes. Its is getting the most votes and prevailing in the system as it currently exists. Its just like “justice” rarely matters in the court room. The side the plays the best game wins the case.
2024 will be just like 2016. in 2016 anyone but Hillary would have won the WH for the Dems. In 2024 anyone (almost) but Trump will win the WH for the Reps. Looks at how the Independents split in 2016 and will spit 2024 and you will understand why.

I’ll be damned if I’ll vote for a Republican just because they say they are a Republican. Far too many of them are lying sacks of shit that are no different than a Democrat, they just wear a different shirt. I think if the Dem’s try to pull the same crap they did in 2020, all hell will break loose. Might well be enough for civil war, version 2.0. If even 1/4 of the folks that “talk the talk” actually walk the walk, it won’t be pretty.
If you haven’t made at least SOME plans for that scenario, you will end up as the ones in the street, rooting thru a garbage can for groceries.

While I can see the convoluted logic in what you are postulating, it is a little too “5D chess” for me to run with as a working theory. And we have all seen how successful the republicants have been in trying to outsmart their “opponents” at matters like these by thinking and planning several moves ahead. They always end up getting kicked in the nuts because fundamentally, the demoncrats are dirty, lying cheaters.
And that is where your theory that Trump must be on the ticket to accommodate the level of cheating required to handle them the win is too cute by half; if they anticipate he can’t be beaten by rigging the vote, they will just call off the vote. And they have that option, as they control all the organs of state that manage elections in states. Especially where it really matters. 6 states were massively manipulated in 2020, and all were solidly or trending blue, at least with regard to their state voting organizational apparatus.
Witness the nascent renewed push for COVID restrictions. This is the play, and they have multiple avenues being setup concurrently to ensure they hold on to power. One is to rig the vote, another is to make sure it simply doesn’t happen. That is the trump card (heh) they will pull if they think they cannot manage the steal by sneakier (less obvious) means, as they did in the last two cycles.
Further, since their need to retain power is now an existential crisis – if they lose power they get prosecuted (though given the absolute fecklessness of the republicants, I’m not even sure that is a legitimate concern) – nothing is off the the table insofar as ensuring they retain power. Lawfare is already being utilized, further escalation of this process will mean disappearing people or outright assassinations, if they feel it necessary. And creating a crisis of sufficient scale and severity will give them cover (in some people’s minds anyway) to “postpone” (read: cancel) the election outright. Remember, this is a do or die, playing for keeps scenario. So don’t try to claim “oh, they’d never do that!”.
Really, it is all moot anyway. They are screwing around with things like energy and food supply that will have massive real world consequences, creating a series of compound crises where scores of people will end up dead. Once that occurs, we will have the predicate for large scale riots they will not be able to contain or control, and then they are well and truly fucked. Continuity of govt will be impossible in a “country” this geographically large and populated. They will retain some smaller pockets – for a while – but the rest will slip through their fingers. At that point, who knows what sequence of events takes place. Balkanization and formation of new govt structures for breakaway territories, foreign interests meddling, decapitation strikes against those who remain in federal and state govt structures still trying to present themselves as the legitimate authority, really who really knows? In any case, their ability to hold it all together will be non-existent, or very nearly so. Their loss of claim to legitimacy in the minds of enough people will create a mass of non-compliance so large that they will collapse. With everything in a tail spin, there will also be no money to keep operating (the notion of “full faith and credit” will be busted for all the world to see), and these shit tier parasites aren’t working for free, of that you can be assured.
Bottom line, they are going to cheat and manipulate their way into a massive failure by allowing their egos to run unchecked and unconstrained. They are their own worst enemies in that regard, as they always believe they can manage the consequences. So far they have been able to, but with each new turn of the crank, they get closer to the inflection point where too many variables are unaccounted for, and their luck runs out.

One of key phrases in the 14th ammendment is (from one of the referenced articles) “bars sworn officeholders who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the United States from holding office again”
Unless a federal prosecutor or US attorney charges him with insurrection, I doubt this can approach can be used. The lawsuits to date mention nothing of this despite the MSM calling J6ers and Trump insurrectionists daily. And no one has charged him so far because they don’t have any evidence to support it.
Republicans are spineless, and my opinion is they don’t want to deal with the drama that comes with Trump on the ticket. The future is unclear, but I would imagine SCOTUS will be involved before this is over.
I agree that it is going to be a rough ride and if Trump manages to pull this off, all hell will break loose. What would be a nice bonus is, during the process when the left uses every trick in the book to stop him, the corruption and cheating gets laid bare for all to see.

If they get the RINOs to keep Trump off the ticket, the ire of the base will be focused on the Republican party instead of on the Dems and they avoid a civil war while getting to win again. Plus they spark off a Republican party schism that lasts for many election cycles.
