Here is the problem that I have with the Catholic church: They want everyone to do as they say, and not what they do. A great example:

Shortly before his death Pope Francis updated Vatican norms imposing up to four years in prison for attempting to illegally invade the Vatican as a migrant. At the same time, he billed himself as the pro-migrant Pope and criticized those in the US who were against illegal immigration.

No different than the limousine liberals in Martha’s Vineyard.

Because they’re both Commies!

The Catholic Church is a nest of pagan pedophiles. It has nothing to do with Christianity, but is a continuation of the pagan Roman religion. Read Gibbons “Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” or “The Two Babylons” by Hyssop and you will clearly see.

I have no problem with the cathaholics – anyone can believe whatever they want. At least they don’t want to kill all the non-believers. I remember when JFK was running for POTUS everyone said he’d never win since he was a catholic. Good old days.

Conflating an individual with an institution is a logical error you wouldn’t make in most (any?) other circumstances. Why this one?

Because his views are the official position of the church. Like it or not, his edicts carry weight.

Most of what you hear and see coming out of Rome especially starting with Fwancis and the ones he favored and appointed are opinions, and carry the same weight as those posted here. Personal opinions. Rarely do popes speak in the official dogmatic weight of the Chair of Peter unfortunately the opinions of late have been tailored to conform with the radical and liberal views of the left and skirt the teachings of Our Savior Jesus Christ. All one has to do is do a little digging on your own. Seek the truth and He will find you.
