This ties in with my statement on Due Process. Read the clause again:
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
So lets assume that you are right- illegally entering the country isn’t a crime. OK. What is the penalty? You get sent back to the nation that you came from. That isn’t depriving you of life, liberty, or property, so you aren’t entitled to due process.
If the government DID want to charge you with a crime, the law used would be 8 USC 1325: Improper entry by alien. The law reads:
Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.
In other words, it’s a misdemeanor the first time, a felony each subsequent time.
Saying the word “asylum” isn’t a magic word that gets you a free pass. First, asylum is for fleeing your home country because your life is in danger if you stay. Second, once you have left your home country, the threat is gone, and you are done fleeing. That means you can’t pass through 8 nations on the way to the US in order to claim asylum. That’s not how it works.
Also, sneaking into the country and staying here for a decade in violation of the law doesn’t mean that you can claim asylum after being caught.
The statute of limitations don’t apply in the event of a crime that continues every day. If I were to make an illegal machine gun, but I own it for 20 years, that doesn’t mean ATF can’t charge me with it. That also isn’t how crimes work.

But that’s the rub, by simply changing the accepted definition of words we’ve known for thousands of years, they are destroying this country. It baffles me that we even have to have these kinds of fights, just carry a copy of the Oxford English Dictionary and throw it at these morons.
But that’s exactly whats happening. Word magic, spells in another day and age. Asylum has a new meaning, as does ‘border’, and God only knows what else. Peaceful Lawful Protest is one of my favorite ones.
They live in a different world than us.
Their words have different meanings, their ideals are aligned very differently, their science follows completely different rules, thermodynamics be damned!
This is the literal bifurcation of the country by communists, and everyone is busy asking about celebutards and sportsball tournaments.

There’s a report that these same people (or another group) is also apparently planning some sorts of protests nationwide this Saturday, which also could make them accomplices.

It does sound a little like you are trying to mix two different problems into one.
The first problem I see is whether or not there exist “illegals” in the US? I think that this is a simple problem, as even “Rando Lefty” agrees that there are “People who are here […] without legal permission”. So it just seems like a nomenclature problem. Call them “people without legal permission” and it’s solved :)))
The second problem is procedural and this I think is a serious problem. Because there is no way to remove somebody from your country without at least temporarily depraving them of some of their liberty. So your Constitution guarantees them a due process. And that is expected from civilized countries. This is for example why you can see Poland building fences and other preventative measures on our border, this is also why you can see in your media videos showing how our police, paramilitary and military stand on the border and push away anybody who is trying to enter, physically preventing them from stepping onto our soil. Because once they are on our soil they have the right to a due process guaranteed in our Constitution to everyone, citizen or not. So this is how we demonstrate our resolve not to have “people without legal permission” in our country.
Now, your government for 4 years welcomed “people without legal permission” to enter the country. There is no doubt that this has guaranteed them a right to a due process. Because the change of party at the top doesn’t suddenly introduce a legal discontinuity. Doctrinally, the new government acquires all legal commitments of any prior government and needs to follow all established legal procedures necessary to shed such commitments (which usually requires new laws or new lawsuits).
The solution is very simple and costly at the same time: allow people their due process and deport them if in the due process they fail to establish the right to remain in the US. Although I think that nothing stops you from pursuing a financial compensation from the deportees? So maybe you can recover some of the costs?

1 A temporary detainment isn’t depriving someone of liberty, any more than a cop pulling you over does.
2 Due process doesn’t mean a trial and years of appeals.
That’s why the amendment was phrased the way that it was:
Note that citizens have privileges and immunities, while people can’t be deprived of life, liberty, or property.
Note that there is a clear line between people and citizens.

Unless they engage in sedition, insurrection, or fomenting the overthrow of the government by violence, including mere speech supporting same. The First Amendment doesn’t apply to violent overthrow nor even mere disturbance to interfere with civil authorities.
For purposes of discussion, so much as issuing one supportive tweet of a violent riot or other disturbance, or picking up a rock to throw at local cops or federal agents in a riot, is sufficient to be found guilty.
Then they can be permanently stripped of US citizenship (yes, even native-born US citizens!), thrown in federal prison for 10 years, deported to any country selected by the United States afterwards, and if doing such was done under declaration of martial law, they can even be hung by the neck until dead. All black-letter federal law. 🙂

Re. 1. Temporary detainment for deportation is depriving you of liberty more than a cop pulling you over – time ratio determines by how much more, but it is usually by orders of magnitude. Also, the removal process involves incarceration – we’re not talking here about a person stopped at the airport and turned back onto the next flight wherever.
Re. 2. Your country determines what is the due process. Afaik it involves special immigration courts with the right to appeal their decisions to a federal court. So yes, the due process can and does involve a trial and potentially years of appeals. But that’s how your legal system works. Nothing stops you from legally changing it – with majorities in Congress and SCOTUS this should be easy.
And yes, we are talking here about people and their liberty.
So I have to say I am still very puzzled as to why to insist on these legally weak points regarding the lack of right to a due process – it just weakens your overall argument, esp. muddies the parts where you are correct, like about the fact that not everyone has the right to stay in the US.

I don’t tell you how Polish internal politics should work, because how you choose to run your country is your business. Same here. It is no difference between this and telling a married couple how they should organize their household.
It’s an American affair. I’ve long said that the US should stop meddling in the affairs of other nations, and the same thing goes for other nations interfering in the affairs of the USA.
