She gets a smidgeon of respect for expressing that she’s lying and that she knows it’s wrong.

The guy could easily be diagnosed psychopath, a sip of coffee being his only shown display of discomfort.
22 years, believes asserting constitutional rights is not acting in personal best interest, achieved lieutenant rank, he only ever made one arrest, and it’s the judge who destroyed evidence about a scene he had nothing to do with.
