I can’t decide if these militia are cosplayers who are merely playing a part, or if they seriously think that they are ready for the revolution but incompetent. I don’t understand the fascination they seem to have with .22LR. They certainly won’t be able to engage anyone at any sort of range with underpowered cartridges and no attention to sights of any sort.

Just remember that a .22 can still kill you, and a bad shooter can still get lucky.

I didn’t mark up these pictures, but they are informative:

Unprepared as they may be, the call went out and they showed up.

Unfortunately, many on the liberty movement can't say the same.

I was at a gunshow in the big city 2 hours away recently; there was a young Black man, probably still in his teens, skinny as a rail, with his shirt open to his waist, walking around asking every table if they required background checks while waving a .22 AR around wildly….

I heard multiple vendors say that they had never seen so many "gangbangers" at a show. Normally shows there are about half Black/ half White; this show was at least 75% Black, many of whom were families with kids.

I bought a few things there; there was quite the contrast between table with close to normal prices and table with very high prices – for example, reputable makes of both ARs and AKs were available from numerous sellers, but some dealers started at $600 and others started at $1300.

I thought it was odd in the video you posted.

I'm assuming that they have no knowledge of firearms other than what they have seen in the popular media.

Also that at the time they acquired it the firearm and ammo was cheaper than one in a real rifle cartridge.

"Just remember that a .22 can still kill you, and a bad shooter can still get lucky."

To quote from Murphy's law of combat.

"Professionals are predictable but the world is full of dangerous amateurs."

And

"Incoming fire has the right of way."
