Every time there is a strike from a national union, we hear stories of union members committing violent acts to keep others from going on with their lives without the union’s blessing. I remember a Greyhound being shot at during a teamsters’ strike years ago. The leader of the longshoremen threatened to “cripple” us. The Governor of Florida took action to make sure that this doesn’t happen.

I hope his protection is better than the US Secret Service has been for Trump. As shooting up the bus testifies, the threat to “cripple” us isn’t necessarily metaphorical.

That “leader” of the Longshoreman union should be publicly flogged.
I don’t wish harm on anyone but that clown is the one who should need security at this point.
Cripple us ? How about someone cripple you ! Enjoy your wheelchair butthole ! Maybe he can get a Bently version of a wheelchair. Ugh that guy can eat my dirty socks !

All of our ports are foreign-owned. Crazy that the government let this happen. No other nation has sold its ports like us. The union is fighting against foreign companies. We still have some control over the ports until automation comes in. After this contract is up, I’ll bet they automate them like they are most everywhere else. We will be at the mercy of other countries, more than we are now that we don’t manufacture anything.

I’m going to vote for Trump, but I really wished DeSantis was the candidate. Unfortunately, he didn’t ‘debate’ well. The debates are something all the candidates have to do, but they’re a bad way to pick a candidate, much less a president. DeSantis seemed like a reasonable, can-do politician, and an effective governor, but it’s all a personality contest now.
