More to the story on the cops who were ambushed in Eustis last week. The cops entered the house and split up. They obviously didn’t clear the rooms very well, because one of the occupants got behind one of the cops and shot him in the back. The other cop fled, and the arriving backup didn’t have the balls to go in and rescue their comrade.

When the wounded cop ran out of ammo, the occupants of the house simply walked up and shot him. When the dead cop’s phone rang, the occupants answered it to find out it was the dead man’s wife. They taunted her.

Local media is making a big deal out of the fact that the home had a stockpile of guns, ammunition, food, and bottled water, and lacked cell phones, regular phones, or a television. OK, a stockpile of guns, ammo, food, and water describes most of the households in Florida.

They are charging the mother with murder, even though she was in custody at the time and the government employees had to go “down the street” to investigate the family home? So she was such a tactical genius that she knew her being arrested away from her home would cause government employees to enter her home without a warrant or permission enabling her family to shoot the government employees.

After she was arrested, she told the cops to check on the people in the home. I think that’s why they are arresting her.

Well, this Julie Sulpizio sure sounds like a nutter, I’ll give you that. Sounds like the whole family was off kilter.

Still don’t have sympathy for the cops. They made their bed by becoming the enemy of the people and the jackboot army of the corrupt politicians. Now they can sleep in it. Expect ambush and other guerrilla style tactics to become more common once enough normal people realize they’re behind enemy lines and can’t vote their way out.

    My exact point.

> Deputy Link’s coworkers also shared fond memories of his impact on their lives and the community he served.

Reminds me of the time I was sitting there with a bunch of cops and they regaled each other with stories of the times they did horrendous shit–like intentionally hitting a foot-chase suspect with their car breaking the guy’s femur (and they all laughed while the sergeant acted out writhing on the ground screaming in pain), the time they beat the shit out of a handcuffed prisoner, the time they drug an obnoxious woman out of her jail cell and left her handcuffed in her undergarments in the snow for 15 minutes to teach her a lesson, etc…

I’m glad they were highly-trained professionals. Who knows what might have happened if they’d just been hired off the street and given badges and guns!

> . . . religious beliefs heavily influenced the situation . . . guns, ammunition, and bottled water, and – OMG LACK OF ANY PHONES OR TEEVEE – suggest they were isolated from society. Detectives said they also found what they called “anti-government propaganda” and material from conspiracy theory-related media.

Seriously – the lack of TV or phones WHILE HAVING religious beliefs, guns, ammo, bottled water and self-sufficiency books makes them “isolated from society”. Sounds like the overlords are terrified that not everyone is getting “The Message”. If the “anti-government propaganda” was anything of the sort they’d have told us what it was. Probably just a book on friggin solar panels.

I guess “make it up as you go” tactical training is less than ideal. Were there any DEI’s in the crew?I’ve heard “you will fail to your level of training, not rise to the occasion” when the fan spews. I second Noway’s view on modern LEO’s take as enforcers.

    > The cops entered the house and split up.

Hollywood has been cranking out instructional movies about that situation since, forever. Hammer Films and Rank Production made dozens of them.

“See what happens when you go into the house and split up? Don’t do that.”

Ambush first started under the immaculate bathhouse gloryhole server Barry.
This is the Fundamental Transformation that the New Civility hive comrades voted for.
This is fine, burn this MOFO down.
The dastardly Koresh stockpile (s/) sounds like something that every home should have and not just in Florida.

Is it me or the cop’s stories appear to be total bullshit ?
We’ll probably never know what really happened but unless the people in the house were totally crazy, a sane person doesn’t just decide to kill cops and then supposedly off themselves, especially 2 girls in their 20s.
