The UN passed a resolution calling the African slave trade a crime against humanity and demanding reparations. Isn’t it time that we leave the UN and repurpose their buildings?

If reparations are to be paid they will be paid by the country’s that kidnapped, shackled, and sold the slaves in the first place.
The reparations will be partial payment to the countries that received the slaves because of the horrendous turmoil suffered by the citizenry from the on-going animal-like criminal behavior of the slaves for the past 400 years.

Since the majority of the African slave trade flowed East into the Arab world I eagerly await Saudi Arabia’s response along with Dubai and Oman, which only abolished slavery in 1970. As the successor to the Slave Kingdom of Dahomey, Benin should also be on the hook

The US should withdraw all funding and relocate the parasites to the Gaza Strip, Mogadishu, Port au Prince, or somewhere nice like that.
The treaty that created the special status for their location should be cancelled.

Are the UN critters asking for reparations from the Arabs and the Brazilians, or just from White Americans?

Slaves in the Atlantic trade, most of whom went to Brazil and the Caribbean island sugar plantations, were taken and sold into that trade by Black Africans of other tribes.
Raiding for slaves was done mostly by Arabs, who raided both Europe and central Africa.
The reparationists are notably not calling for a final end to African slavery, nor an end to the sex slavery now here in the US, in Europe, in Africa, and in the Islamic world.

I was going suggestion reforming the ATF into a business selling everything in their name. Followed by kicking out the UN and opening the building as the national ATF mall. After further research I’ve learned that building was a shitty design and basis for all our modern architecture that sucks. So I agree with you. Use it for target practice and build something else. Preferably in one of the previous architectural styles.

Reparations? From whom, exactly? Descendants of the Africans who sold other Africans into the peculiar institution? Descendents of Barbary slavers? Some of my kin fought for the South and some fought for the North. Does that get me a pass, or merely half off whatever the levy is calculated to be?
No. Far better to give the occupants of the UN building 24 hours to get out of town before Trump calls in a B-52 strike on the property, bulldozes the ruins and salts the ground on which it stood. They already hate us anyway, so there really isn’t a downside to it.

Three options. 1. Get your reparations from the people who first sold you. If you weren’t a slave, you’re SoL so no reparations. 2. First pay back everything that has been done to enrich your lives. All medicine, all tech, all improvements and of course, repayment for all the criminal damage caused. After that we can talk. 3. Go pound sand.

If the UN left NYC it would cause the sads for its supporting structure of food delivery services, prostitutes, and drug dealers, who would have to find other customers. On the flip side, parking and traffic in the area would no longer be compromised by scofflaws with diplomatic immunity.
Some more-suitable city should take its turn to host the UN. I’d like to propose Pyongyang, North Korea. Though Bamako in Mali would also be an excellent choice.
