Here’s how any ‘problematic’ self defense shooting goes down.

Bad person of a protected group does bad thing to a good person of the evil right.

Good person legally and morally defends themselves and sends BP of a PG on a perpetual dirtnap.

Police rule ‘self defense.’ Prosecutors rule, at the time, ‘self defense.’

As little as 6 weeks after Good Person is let go as a ‘good shoot self defense,’ the local Prosecutor’s office/State Attorney/District Attorney (all basically elected shills or wanting to be elected shills) will reopen the investigation because the BP of a PG’ ‘people’ (who often didn’t care a darned about the BPoaPG before said dirtnap) and the eneMedia and some rich bunghole leftists in Hollyweird all said ‘Something needs to be done about the constant racism/sexism/neanderthalism/whateverism that robs our rich diverse Protected Group (ducks gun shots from one PG group to another PG group) culture of such good boys.

And then the good person gets dog-hammered by everyone. Fired from the job, kids are attacked, family home is vandalized, parents and cousins and 4th cousins all dragged into the media spotlight.

No matter what the showtrial outcome is, the Good Person ends up lower than 3rd World Dog Squeeze.

This happens so often.

All because the Prosecutors/State’s Attorneys/District Attorneys are trying to make a name for themselves and play nice with the Protected Groups that keep them so busy.
