22 Pakis were killed while discovering US embassies are sovereign US territory guarded by armed US Marines.
I’ve also seen reports that, for the first time since 1945, a US submarine sank an enemy ship with a torpedo. Another report i saw says the ship sunk was a submarine stalking the Abraham Lincoln. I can’t confirm at this point. If it was in fact a submarine, this would be the first sinking of any submarine by an SSN. EVER.

Well, they’re not the smartest of people.
Maybe they thought Hillary was President?

I continue to maintain the Pakis are a far bigger threat than people realize. I seem to remember Obama authorizing a raid to go get Bin Laden in.. pakistan.

That is quite remarkable. Submarines were always most taken by destroyers or aircraft when they didn’t succumb to the deep itself. Always liked “Run Silent, Run Deep” 😉

I wouldn’t put it past the Israelis to have pulled this one to keep us engaged on Iran.

I need a movie made about this if it checks out. My boy loves subs for some reason. Jester, I won’t put Ocho at risk, but there are South Asian cultures which are absolutely worse than Chechens, Dagestanis, etc. You may have identified one of the biggest risks that doesn’t get H1Bs. Speculation of course.

Any updates on whether or not the US sub sunk the other one? That’s just a cool story.

Certainly by one of our SSNs. HMS Conquerer sank the Belgrano in the Falkland’s war.
