BEST thing that could happen to that God forsaken shithole! One of the reason’s I left that state (used to live at the other end of it). What people don’t realize, is NYFC, ISN’T like wherever you live. It’s so ‘cultured’ that it’s probably 10-15% white? Reeks of marijuana everywhere you go, the street apes bring their lit blunts into the store with them to pilfer a bag of chips from the bodega… It was on it’s way to the auguring itself into the ground like every other bluehive shithole, but he’ll light up the afterburner, and it will be spectacular to watch! From 800 miles away where I live now. BAHAHAHAA!

If Madman actually opens those government stores will they put the bodegas out of bussiness. If so, what will happen when those government stores close.

Buckle up NYC the pain has yet to come.

They never realize that Whitey can move.

When he says “White people” does he include Jews in that group?

If you change the word White with Black, there would be howling, beating of breasts and demands he leave the race.
Yet attacking white people is AOK per the Left Wing media.

Curtis Sliwa for mayor!

The left has been openly telling us what they are planning to do to us for a long time.
The fact that we allow them to continue wasting our is OUR fault.

As David Codrea has pointed out, none of the NYFC mayoral candidates, including Sliwa, are in any way pro-gun. The ADL has endorsed Mamdani, and I suspect that he’s going to win.

It’s really too bad to see the sh!t hole the city has become. I used to drive from Syracuse to the city to hit the specialty bookshops; I once scored a signed copy of Keith Laumer’s mystery novel Deadfall for 25 dollars.

RIP, NYC…

Back in ’78 or so, I remember people talking about the Soviets nuking NYC and people joking about that probably wouldn’t justify striking back and nuking them because it was actually doing us a favor.

The Soviet Union no longer exists but there sure appears to be enough morons to keep the communist ideas alive. Every time a friend or I have argued how miserably it has failed and how many people it has killed they always say those previous countries “just didn’t do it right.” The irony of people that stupid arguing they know more that anyone in human history (who else could make it work?) is so rich.

Incredible that someone so openly muslim, marxist, and socialist can get that far in any political race in America. I guess they deserve what they get.

Wall NYC off, send in Snake Plisken to rescue anyone still worth saving, and forget about it.

A friend of mine always has a knee-jerk anti-city reaction. He doesn’t even want to visit one. It’s a little dumb but he’s still my friend.

My three favorite US cities are (were?) New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans. As playright Tennessee Williams said “everything else is Cleveland.” I’m sure other cities have lots to offer but our life took us where it took us.

I could not live in NYC for many reasons. I think it is a shitty place to raise children unless you have many millions and are happy raising children who are too sheltered from real life. Throw in the crowds, streetlights, noise, crime, lack of space, gun laws, and unhealthy air and there you have it. Not for me. But during the Giuliani and Bloomberg periods my wife and I spent plenty of weekends there. The food, museums, and music were fantastic,

25 years ago SF was also a great place to take the kids for a daytrip. Museums, food and music again. A beautiful city and a fun visit. I have to admit that we saw a rapid decline in SF over the years. See the poop map of SF.

New Orleans is a unique place for food and music. We sold our place there a few years back but have fond memories.

Whether you want to live in a city or not, they are a part of our nation and it seems a shame to abandon them to lunatic socialists.
