AOC is upset that rich people control large businesses. It’s better, according to her, that she and the rest of the government get to do it. Bartenders are so much better at running things, you see.
They want the power to pick who gets what. They want to determine through government fiat who is rich and who is poor.

Capitalism is the best system for wealth distribution, but it is not a system of government. We do not enjoy capitalism here since our government has bastardized it in a way that actually makes it more like socialism. For example, I do not have the right to market my skills to the highest bidder due to a number of reasons: unions, licensing, fees and permits, etc. Every venture attempted is highly scrutinized by our government and highly penalized if found in violation of any rule or regulation. In many cases, you cannot legally begin a professional business unless you have the approval of your would-be competition. There are barriers to entry of almost all professions that are expensive and unequal in their application (lookup ‘grandfathering’ concept). In a big way, they already have the power to determine through government fiat who is rich and who is poor.

Don’t quite understand the comparison since real communism can never be tried; just like time travel – it’s impossible. As long any people in the group think of themselves first over the community, there cannot be communism. Capitalism counts on the greed of the individual to make it work – the invisible hand.

Communism as practiced in real life is thinly veiled feudalism, where some are better than others and in practice are above the law.
True communism requires a completely selfless disinterested (i.e. perfect) person. They don’t exist in the here and now , and only will exist in Heaven.
Therfore they are technically correct that “true communism” has never been tried – but they leave out the part where it hasn’t been tried because it can’t be!

But whats scary are the poll numbers on this election. Working class supported Cuomo by 61 to 38% and the Educated class supported the commie by 68-32%.
The US Public Indoctrination system has reached a tipping point and there ain’t no going back or fixing it by trying to use the corrupt system to fix the system.

What is VERY interesting also on the election numbers is so the so called highly educated voted for the commie in big numbers.
But if you look at the demographics that confuses things, white people are 32% of the NYC population. I would love to see a race breakdown of who voted for whom. IT would appear ALOT of the H2B visa and other “educated immigrant” types voted for team commie in big ways also.
So much for coming here to better themselves and their human conditions bullshit. Show’s what an education means now…

I remember a meme where it was said, that the US government once tried to run a ranch in Nevada where bodily favours were exchanged for money and failed.
And to the claim of the left that real communism was never been tried. Yep, thats right. I know a leftwing loony who went full yelling when I reminded him of Stalin, Mao, etc. “Stalin was never a true communist. True communism is something entirely different.”
As I am not very good with words I would really have him explain to Konstantin Kisin, Charlie Kirk etc what true communism is.
