The Case For Antifa

OK, so now that it seems as if the Charlie Kirk shooter was a member of Antifa, perhaps it’s time to take a look at whether or not he was acting alone, or if he was a part of an organized attempt. Of course this is all speculation because I don’t have access to the levels of evidence to make a solid case, and lord knows I can get sucked into a bad analysis from time to time, but that’s the nature of blogging from the spare bedroom that you’ve turned into an office.

There were a number of things that were odd about the events of the shooting. The one that really jumped out at me for its suspicious nature was this one:

There was the guy who was seating 4 rows back, cheering immediately. He faced the location of the gunman and cheered while everyone else was ducking. His picture was everywhere on the news, after which he came forward and had some odd things to say:

“I stood and shouted ‘USA,’ not as a provocation, but to project strength, encourage others, and create a distraction that might help calm panic or even save lives.”

he called out media figures including John Oliver, Matt Walsh and Steven Crowder, saying “mockery … on both sides of the equation” was “killing my soldiers, my people.”

His soldiers? What soldiers? I found to profiles that appear to match the guy. One is confirmed to be him, @rtothepowerofx, and his statement can be found here:

He thinks he is fighting a war.

and the other is an Instagram account that was just setup in August.

Antifa had been pretty quiet as of late, and I had just assumed that their funding was drying up, what with it not being an election year, and USAID being shut down. I am rethinking that assessment.
