Since this,appears to be a counter at a gun store WTF was this gun loaded? Also do we have a date for this? The face masks point towards 2021ish.
Related, any instructor who says “big boy rules are in effect” instead of the four rules is of questionable competence

In second grade I pointed an unloaded rifle that I had grabbed from the rack at my bud KG and he proceeded to knock me to the floor with a don’t ever do that again warning.
Later in junior high we watched the Colonel Cooper VHS tapes with the Five Rules and these should be etched on stone tablets.
Those who ignore them will have problems.

It looked like he was showing his bud how to disassemble it and from what I understand is that to get the slide off, you have to pull the trigger.

Looks like he removed the mag but didn’t clear the chamber, and yeah, thinking about the glock thing too.

I went in the local gun shop the other day to pick up my rifle repair. Some idiot came in and asked to see “one of those military guns” (AR). The first thing that he did was sweep the entire store with the muzzle and then pulled the trigger while it was pointed at someone. The shop owner grabbed the rifle from him and told him to get the hell out. Said that he was too damned stupid to own a gun and would probably just end up killing a friend or family member with it.

While I understand the sentiment, this is better handled as a teachable moment. Explain the four rules to the person that is interested in buying a gun, instead of simply tossing him out.
