This is a great video of a police shooting from February 2023. Police responded to a local bar for a reported domestic violence incident as well as a hit and run. When the officer arrived, the female victim pointed out her assailant, who wound up being her boyfriend. I won’t describe what happened next, you can see it for yourself. I do marvel at how every shooting video seems to have a screaming woman in it. Righteous shoot, in my opinion.
The idiot tried drawing on a person who already had him at gunpoint. The cop dumped 10 rounds into him, moved to an area of semi-cover behind a vehicle, then executed a tactical reload, all while keeping the guy in his sight. Great tactics.

I (intellect) over E (emotions) at all times. This is what happens when you flip that fraction on it’s head. Stupidity (or intoxication) leading to tragedy. Officer remained pretty cool headed considering. That’s training.
I concur as to the righteousness of the shooting. Perp not only asked for it, repeatedly, but provoked it in the end with his actions.

This is another example of people who lack critical thinking skills or self control.
Idiot was facing probably 3 MISDEMEANORS that his shyster lawyer could have plead down to 6 months in the county lockup at most.
Either the guy was an idiot drawing on a cop who had him at gunpoint or he committed suicide by cop.
Either way, a good shoot and good riddance to bad rubbish.

You left out two attempted assaults on the (solo) cop before the shooting.
Common sense was fighting upstream against the alcohol, so the suspect played stupid games and won stupid prizes.
100% justified. This shooting was a public service.
