A law aimed at one person, for example saying that Trump’s actions were unofficial and not subject to Presidential immunity is a bill of attainder, in addition to being an ex post facto law.

Nice try, Schumer, you tyrannical piece of shit.

Chuck Schumer went to Harvard Law School. He must have missed class the day they explained that bill of attainder and ex post facto thing. (Or maybe he does understand it, and he’s just shooting off his big mouth again.)

“ The American people are tired, just tired, of Washington elites who think they are beyond accountability.”
Fixed it for you Smucky.

I love how they’ve all willfully misrepresented the SCOTUS ruling to mean “Trump can basically do whatever he wants”, and then further extrapolated it to mean “SCOTUS says Trump can drone-strike his political enemies”…as if 1. Trump was still POTUS and 2. there wasn’t this inconvenient part of the ruling that talks about the civil rights that act would be violating and 3. Trump has a personal fleet of predator drones and wouldn’t be relying on the military to follow his orders even though he isn’t president.

The one thing the left is good at is wildly misrepresenting anything they don’t like.

A few years back, a roaming pack of three pitbulls tried to attack me and my kids while we were out on my property. All the kids ran behind me. The dogs started advancing and I started shouting “NO! GO HOME!” while backpeddling with the kids like crazy. When they didn’t stop, I pulled out my pistol and wasted one of them. The other two ran off.

I have cameras. The entire things was on video. I called the Sheriff. The officer literally started by saying “I raise that exact breed of dog…” and I thought to myself “Oh great…he’s going to side with the dogs”, but he finished “…and I can tell you those dogs were definitely aggressive and they were going to attack you. Whoever raised them should never own this type of dog”.

He then went to the neighbor’s house, was attacked by the one of the other two dogs, put it down on the spot, and took the last dog to the humane society to be euthanized. The neighbor got a sizable ticket.

I told my liberal mother. Her reply was “I can’t believe you would want to murder a dog. I raised you better than that. This is why guns should be illegal.”

Like…zero care or concern that her grandkids could be seriously injured or dead with their throats ripped out by putbulls. Just verbal diarrhea about guns and killing “poor defenseless animals”.

She brings it up several times a year. When I occasionally run into friends of hers, they bring it up. Like…she tells everyone that I love killing dogs.

The way she gossips about it, you would have zero clue that we currently have four rescues (We’ve had 7 or 8 over the last 17 years) because people dump dogs in the area and we’ve worked with each and every one of them to provide food, shelter, training and vet care. Some have been re-homed, but most of them stay with us until they die of old age. They’re members of our family. But apparently I hate dogs so much I love buying guns so I can “murder” them. Because MAGA and Kristi Noem or something.

Liberals love misrepresenting things to suit their feelings.

I once had a girlfriend who was clueless like that. We were once driving down the road and saw a half dozen or so wild hogs. She wanted to stop and pet them. I told her that if she really loved animals, we would keep going, because wild hogs are mean as hell, and I would wind up having to kill one or more of them for attacking her when she tried to pet them.

There is a breed of city dweller that believes all animals are Disney characters, completely anthropomorphized with human goals, thoughts, and feelings. In reality, nature is a vicious cycle of kill or be killed.

You’re probably on to something there with watching too much Disney…

        D,

First off, thank you for stepping up and helping out with the abandoned dogs in your area. It warms my heart to think some people still care enough to take in the strays and rehome the ones they can. Kudos to you for giving some of them a good home.

        Concerning your liberal mother.
It is tough when someone we love is that wrong in their thinking and can’t understand or even comprehend your point of view. It can definitely strain relationships and my heart is pained to think of how you have to deal with it. You may want to show her a few you tube videos of the little boy who was mauled by a pit-bull earlier this year(or maybe last year) and died as a result or of the police officer who shot a pack of dogs to save another victim. DM posted that video a while ago. They are searchable, and there are a lot of examples. Maybe that would help her to understand.
Good luck my friend and thanks for all you do.
