He isn’t totally wrong here. There ARE numerous well trained, retired, and active duty military with stockpiles of unregulated 3D printed firearms. Veterans and non-veterans, too. I don’t think the Nazism part is correct, but what is a leftist without an accusation of their opponents being NAZIs? Still, many of those in these circles ARE well connected, and they ARE arming and preparing for a civil war. Maybe he should reflect on that. He goes on:

Yep, the 2A movement IS filled with people who believe that they should be able to make as many untraceable, unregulated firearms as we want. At least you’ve been paying attention. Have we threatened those who oppose us with death? Yep, but that is only because those on his side of the aisle keep saying things like this:

You claim that it is by design that the size of the 2A movement is difficult to pinpoint. What SHOULD keep you up at night is this: it isn’t by design. The 2A movement isn’t designed, it isn’t Astroturf- the movement is organically difficult to pin down because it ISN’T designed or centrally planned. The core membership, designing, building, and stockpiling weapons, is currently in the millions. Perhaps tens of millions. We are engaged in what you call “digital anarchy,” but the rest of us know that as “free speech.”

Yes, there are segments of the same military that you despise while expecting them to kill for you that support the 2A movement. Most of all, we ARE a group that is imminently capable and willing to carry out stochastic violence that is ready, willing, and able to mobilize and carry out guerilla warfare if the situation in this country gets much worse.

Glad to see that you’ve been paying attention. Perhaps your kind should think about this before making things much worse.

The whole missive is very telling. I dunno if people see this:

Look at the viewpoint this guy is coming from. He is in the right and righteous, those he accuses are interlopers, rebels, and he labels them even worse (everyone that I don’t like is a nazi!)

This is the mindset neccessary for genocide. The ground work has been laid and is reaping fruit. Their side is psyching up for genocidal conflict. They already see themselves as the righteous victims, defending themselves against crazed attackers willing to kill them. They are painting it as an existential conflict for the other side to posses the prohibited object (nobody questions that they have never been used this way before, it is the fact they exist (even though they can’t prove it), that threatens their very lives!)

We are being marched into civil conflict by evil people. They should be the target of our combined retribution. We should not allow them to pit us against ourselves.

We see it. It’s called “othering” and is a form of dehumanizing that is a necessary precursor for genocide.

I wonder if Jim has ever asked himself “Why are they arming themselves?”

As a former officer in 4th PSYOP in the 90s, I recall that unit/MOS had the highest average GT score of all MOS’s – in other words, the smartest people wearing the Army uniform at that time.

So, a bunch of hyper-intelligent people are doing something that Jim doesn’t like? Perhaps Jim isn’t smart enough to understand…

Toastrider · August 10, 2023 at 10:47 am

“Who radicalized you?” they demand.

And the response is, “You did.”

    Jonesy · August 10, 2023 at 4:47 pm

    This.

He(and the left in general) don’t seem to understand that if they would quit pushing this nation towards a socialist authoritarian police state, let us live our lives as we see fit, and quit trying to remake society into a gender bending science denying utopia of anything goes, maybe we wouldn’t feel like we need to prep for anything. And oh yeah, leave our fucking kids alone. That tends to motivate people pretty quick. Fuck’s sake…

this ain't no picnic · August 10, 2023 at 11:46 am

The comrades always tell themselves that they are in the right and on a mission to build the New Man utopia by any means necessary.
They also believe that they have some divine right of kings to rule over the toothless hill scoggin rubes who aren’t cosmopolitan enough to get with the Weimar workers utopia.
My rights aren’t part of any cult and shirking against a fake gay and retarded West CCCP is obedience to God.

If it’s ok with Dive Medic (if not, sorry, please delete), this is an excellent post explaining why having tanks, bombers, Drones & related against Ar-15’s wouldn’t mean much in a American civil war / revolution. Having talked to retired Special Forces friends on just this topic, they essentially said the same as Larry Correia in the post.

It’s fine with me. There aren’t many rules here.

Lord of the Fleas · August 10, 2023 at 3:22 pm

I read that MonsterHunter piece a while ago (along with several similar such). Really well done, but just one small note…

That was written in 2018 – almost five years ago. In that time President Kidsniffer’s minions have been going all-out purging the military (and, one supposes, the police forces) of the sorts of people who would refuse to go after civilians, so the ratio of good/bad within the uniformed services has been altered in a bad way. Impossible to say how much, but it’s there. (And don’t forget, following WW1 when vets protested for their benefits etc, it was today’s heroes like MacArthur and Patton who opened up on them. So the regular Army may not be so reliable – it will be the locals who will stand with their neighbours.)

Probably irrelevant, though. If any uniform shows up with confiscation on their minds, he is by definition among the bad guys, and I suspect it would be game-on as described.

Winner winner chicken dinner!
I believe Athens, TN will be our model.

(45 min down the road from me!)

Jester · August 10, 2023 at 7:46 pm

The fact that tweet or whatever it’s called states what is your AR 15 going to do against the newest version of the main battle tank is the whole fucking reason to have the AR 15, if the .gov is sending those things after civilians then yeah it might be time to say you need something. How is this point even being missed? When you have a sitting dunce in the white house saying you need bigger weapons to fight the .gov then I agree with them for a change. It’s amazing the left can say yeah we will go after you with all the advanced weaponry we have available, and you can do nothing. Oh and why do you all want more firearms and ammo? Truely if they felt secure in their positions and statements they would not care if we did indeed have a couple AR 15s stashed somewhere since clearly they are invincable with their main battle tanks, etc.

KurtP · August 10, 2023 at 8:52 pm

Hey Randy Bryce-
How many of those super tanks (okay just M-1’s ..and billions of $ in other advanced arms) did we leave to the illiterate peasants in Afghanistan who fought us to a standstill?
How’s all those advanced arms you want to send against your fellow citizens are in an unwinnable war in Iraq, still?

Oh, and the people you want to send against us live close to where they’ll be fighting.

dave in pa. · August 10, 2023 at 9:25 pm

yeah, right. I don’t think that will fly in the hills of pa. there are a LOT of sports clubs and ranges around here for one. and it kind of funny how there are a lot of vets around here too.
as you said, most people around here couldn’t care less about what happens in DC.
but fuck with them ? and things will change rather fast. people around here leave others alone
like they want for themselves. that is not to say they don’t help each other because they do all the time. one of the nice things here as compared to living in the city. hell even the local supermarket sells ammo and hunting gear.

Jonathan · August 10, 2023 at 9:33 pm

Anyone who thinks a single weapons system is a trump card in war doesn’t understand combined arms.
Israel, Russia (in Afghanistan, Chechnyia, Ukraine, and elsewhere), the US in Iraq and Afghanistan, and plenty of other examples show the vulnerabilities of tanks in urban combat.
Off the top of my head, I know several ways to disable that Abrams in an urban environment; some of them are just a mobility kill, some are total destruction – and all of them use common items from the grocery or hardware stores.

unknownsailor · August 10, 2023 at 10:29 pm

The late Mike Vanderboegh used to go to great pains reminding people like Jim that Clinton rules of engagement are in effect. Regime supporters can get the bullet, too. That means him, and people like him. It was an attempt to warn them off by making it crystal clear that their butt is on the line just as much as the cops they would send in their stead.

It didn’t work when Mike was doing it, and it doesn’t work now, I’ve tried it.

That means it will get to the point, because they have no brakes. Robert Barnes has said this many times on his streams, the professional class don’t seem to have any limit on how far they will go.

I hope everyone is working on their area studies, we’re probably going to need them.

Gryphon · August 11, 2023 at 2:38 pm

Typical commie/libtard dipshit…. “The government has Tanks, your AR-15 is Useless…”
Well, not shit, Sherlock. The Flammenwerfer, the Gasoline Bomb, (Molotov) the Off-Highway Mine (EFP) are the correct Weapons for Anti-Armor work. The Carbine (and the Long-Range Rifle) are for when the Tank Crew exits the Killed Vehicle (if they even can). The Carbine or Rifle also Kills the Drivers of the Tank Transporters, Fuel and Ammunition Trucks, Parts and Repair Vans.

Shitlibs are sure going to be Surprised if the (un)Civil War they seem to want actually happens… because there isn’t going to be a government Tank in their Driveway protecting them from the Guy with an AR-15. Or even a Baseball Bat wrapped in Barbwire. Ammo is Expensive, you know…

TRX · August 14, 2023 at 8:33 am

After the fall of the USSR tens of millions of AK-47s, PKMs, PPSs, PPsHs, and other small arms were cut up and sold to American companies at just a bit over scrap metal price. The “parts kits” spawned a whole industry of repair and 922(r) compliance parts to make them functional again.

A few big FFLs (like Century) assembled numbered, registered rifles from those parts. The rest were absorbed seamlessly by the “gun building hobbyist” crowd without noticeably affecting sales of new-production guns. At one time there were four AK-specific builder forums, and AK-building subforums on other, generalized forums.

Some of those kits are probably still in their plastic bags in garages, attics, and closets. The rest are almost all “ghost guns” now, rebuilt and ready for whatever use their owners decide to put them to.
