A US homeowner is living in a van because he can’t evict a tenant who is advertising the house on AirBNB. The answer is obvious: rent the house for a night from AirBNB, then refuse to leave. If you can’t evict him, he also can’t evict you. Geez, man. Think like a douchebag commie.

I can imagine the “authorities” evicting the actual owner in favor of the squatter.

No more private property rights of ownership. Just another element of the “fundamental change” we were promised by Obama. We are being destroyed from within, by our own government.

And, while you are in there, call a lock smith and have a security door put on the house with new locks. Voilla!!

AirBnB reminds me of Uber or Lyft.
An app making money, with all the risk on whoever owns the “rentable property”.

It always amazes me when I read about issues like this. And the owners reaction where they just cant accept there is no rule of law anymore and they waste years going thru the no justice system. We have it here in Colorado also, we were one of the first states to get this nonsense. For the life of me, I dont understand renting properties anymore unless you are willing to take actions that don’t allow stuff like this to happen. Hell, even if you have no balls to defend your property. You can find some helpers in that area who would gladly convince this guy to leave this home and the state for $1K.

The thing is the tenant has more rights than the property owner and will always play one card after another to delay legal proceedings. And while those are going on it’s not like you can legally go in and throw everything out. Then on the other hand you have slumlords that get away with about everything due to having clout or just enough properties to make it impossible for decent tenants to get things done. I’d be curious to the legalities of a tenant renting the place out though that program though. Even as such when you live in communinity that decrys lack of avaiable rentals then treats people like this it makes one wonder why anyone would rent out a home. Oh.. wait that’s what is wanted. Everyone move to state owned projects and be happy with it.

Ahh…Seattle was all I needed to see and the gigantor Lenin statue is still up in the Fremont hood.
The Bolsheviks gain more territory by the hour.
Enemedia maggots were prattling on about those rentals becoming dangerous party spots over the summer and there are some in the next subdivision sector North where the cock/dog fighting house was found.
Si se puede!

Problems like these are the kinds that call for creative use of tear gas.
