Remember how the left wanted to have people deplatformed and fired? Tossed in camps? Lives ruined when they refused a vaccine? Now they are screaming for mercy because a shitty comedian was fired.

Never watched his show, don’t care what happens to him. The rest can go as far as I’m concerned.

Listen, Joanna who looks like a dude, Colbert isn’t being fired, his show is being cancelled. Colbert isn’t there to amuse you, he’s there to attract eyes to commercials which attracts sellers to CBS who pay for those eyes. He could be doing that and if CBS thought a replacement show would work better and bring in more money the same could happen. Or any other reason, including “because we said so.” Colbert works for CBS. CBS works for the advertisers and shareholders.

“Should scare you?” Only if you don’t understand working for a living.

Carson, Letterman and Leno were entertaining. Colbert is just a hateful leftist a-hole who shuns half the viewers in this country. This is why Gutfeld has more viewers with a far lesser audience.

He was fired because (according to today’s WSJ) the show was losing $40M per year. Colbert’s salary was $20M per year and the show employed 200 people. The network wouldn’t give a damn about his politics if he was making money for them, but he wasn’t. Anyone who is honestly scared by his firing is unwilling to face facts.

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were entertaining when they started around 2000. Stewart’s delivery was great and Colbert’s Bill O’reilly schtick was amusing. Maybe they were actually funny, maybe it was because I truly hated the Bush/Cheney neocon warmonger Patriot Act bunch. No matter, I stopped watching them after The Shrub was out.

They peaked long ago and proceeded to jump the shark. Kimmel peaked with the Man Show. The 15 year career tail ends are too long. It’s interesting that even with a real US President that the Left has been trained to hate like salivating Pavlov’s dogs, those celebrities aren’t economically viable. I think that shows that they had broader appeal early on. Or USAID money.

None of them ever even came near the professionalism of Carson or Letterman.

Good riddance.

So fitting that human waste product Adam Schiff was a guest on the night he announced his cancellation.

None of the Late Night hosts are FUNNY, they are all political left wing activists and watching them is like watching Rachel Maddow on MSNBC….. which no one does hence why MSNBC is going bankrupt.

Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and David Letterman were comedians and they were FUNNY and people would watch their shows.
Leno was forced out over political correctness and since then these shows suck and ratings have plummeted. I’ll bet that in a few years NONE of these shows will be on the air, too expensive with crappy ratings = cancelled.

As a golfing partner used to say ‘Work it up him’. Maybe he should have taken his own advice and ‘shut his c0ck-holster.’.
