Pew research estimates that there are more than 14 million illegals in the nation. The Biden years saw an unprecedented number of illegal entries, aided by the administration’s active participation. My guess is that 14 million is low, perhaps by 15-20 percent, putting the real number at around 16 million. One in every 20 people in the US here illegally, and the other 19 people pay for it.
Now comes news that our judiciary is divided along political lines, with Democrat appointed judges nearly all siding with leftist policies instead of the Constitution.
There is no coming back from this. Trump is a speed bump. All the left needs to do is stall for three more years before continuing their march to communism.
How’s that for a Christmas season cheery thought?

Britain is maybe 5-10 years ahead of us down this path with critical mass of illegal immigrants.
I keep going back and forth on how this might unfold here. The majority of our 16 million illegals are from Central and south America, while Britains imports are from the middle East and Africa. At one point I thought the Dems allowing so many Hispanics in would eventually backfire with the push left and wokeism as Hispanics are coming from largely Catholic countries. So what wins out, free shit or base religion? It seems for now free shit, with the lowest of classes being the majority of immigrants. Easy to control, and will accept communism as long as they are fed.
Then the second problem: Dems are playing with fire courting the Muslims. Unchecked, it won’t matter how many 3rd world voters you import. These people aim to take over, and Dems don’t realize they are being used.

Good question…it won’t be like we go back to being neighbors and taking the fam on summer vacation. It will take years to get to whatever “normal” will look like. I’d like to find some literature on post CW and what that looked like. North/South sentiment exists still to this day.
And how will outside influences affect the outcome and aftermath? What if Canada backs one side, or some other country like China? The UN? Things could turn out very different from what we think we’ll see.

What comes after the civil war is an extremely authoritarian government that harshly suppresses the losing factions for a generation or more. That will be the case regardless of which faction manages to “win” control of the government.
It has been said: “Politics is downstream from culture”. I believe that careful observations of the entertainment and educational industries will give the most reliable indicators of where things are going.

Depends on the outcome. If the left isn’t totally and completely wiped out, you will always have enclaves, sanctuary states/cities, and area’s of this nature. The nation will fracture, heavily; if it is to survive, it has to go back to a states-rights form of centralized government. Neither side, regardless of who wins or how, will tolerate the other, especially after open-war/fighting.
If the left win’s, we’ll all be put up against the wall.

They certainly will not be safe when it all falls in, despite how they might try and insulate themselves. IMHO they will be more targeted than they are now. So, what’s the point? I live in a decent sized city in the Midwest, not on a coast or on the Southern border. I will guarantee that at least 10% of the people i encounter on any given day are illegal. Bare minimum. And that’s just living a normal life.

Fifteen years ago, the illegal community in Houston, Texas admitted that there were over four million illegals in the Houston Metroplex alone. As a long haul truck driver ten years ago, I estimated there were at least twenty million here then. I don’t think 30 million is an unreasonable number to go by after Biden’s handlers did their deeds. One place I loaded out of in NYC was Chinese owned/operated, with no English speakers in the docks. The last load out, the illegal Chinese had been replaced with illegal latinos. Bosses spoke Chinese with minimal English, new illegal slaves didn’t speak either language, only Spanish. Different parts of the country are very different from one another, especially in this regards. I think that’s one reason it’s such a divisive issue? If liberals and democrats in the Northeastern US and shining blue cities on the hill had the problems with migrants they do here in the SouthEastern US, there would definitely be a different tune. Oh, your kid got creamed in a car accident by a drunken and stoned illegal with no insurance, who fled from the scene and was never caught, so now your kid’s dead, the perp’s loose to do it again and your auto insurance is 4x the national average? There are enclaves of higher, but there are also those with none. There are areas like Miami and Kissimmee where the vast majority don’t speak English, but there are areas where there are no people speaking other languages. It’s easy, if you are in an area where there are many illegals, to think they are more numerous than they are- the old saw about “How did he win the election? No one I know voted for him.”
Areas like Minneapolis, Miami, and LA are overrun- especially border states. Areas of the midwest and the Rockies have virtually no illegals.
I still don’t think that we are as high as 10%, but all of us have our opinions. Without evidence, that’s all that they are- opinions. The government is making sure that there is no evidence either way.

Even if one were to tiple the current DHS estimate of 14 million, you would only get 42 million, and assuming that the DHS would undercount by a factor of three is just pushing credibility.
One of the best pieces of evidence against so many illegal immigrants is the data regarding anchor babies born in the US. If there were a higher number of illegal immigrants, we would expect to see more children born here, reflected in birth data and school records. That data just isn’t there.
Then there are incarceration rates. If there were more than 30 million illegal immigrants, the nationwide incarceration rate for illegal immigrants would be less than 272 per 100,000, about 15 percent below that of legal immigrants, and almost 80 percent below the native-born incarceration rate. This would make illegal immigrants the most law-abiding subpopulation in the United States.

Okay, let’s go there. In Kommiefornia, I work for a BigBox. We see folks of every denomination on earth-my area is overrun with Hindus and Chinese, but we have our fair share of Muslims. One couple comes in to shop for Spark/Instacart/etc. In 100+ degree weather, the asshole husband is in flip-flops, shorts, and a nice breathable cotton shirt. The wife? Full hijab, tights on under a dress, socks with shoes, a modified burka and the only open skin is her hands and her face. SHE is the one who shops, puts it in the cart or flatbed, has it rung up, stops for inspection while the hubby asshole shoves his register tape in my face. Once outside, the wife unloads the cart or flatbed, loads the car up, while the husband sits in the seat with the AC running. Once she has completed her “chores”, they drive off to do deliveries. These people, and their “culture” have NOTHING to do with me. They could give a sh** where they are as long as they get welfare, an EBT, and money comes in. The Malaysians have the brattiest kids on earth, the Chinese are quick to show they are “superior” to us, the Hindus are mostly polite-to your face. I could go on and on. Bottom line? I don’t want any of these people here. I want them all gone. The Left should be careful what they wish for because they just might get it-good and hard. When CW2 kicks off, there will not be any change of heart or gentlemen’s rules of engagement.

The news weasels have been telling us that “only” 11 million illegals are in the country since the early 1990’s. Despite a steady “trickle” of at least 1,000 per day for the last 30+ years. (Those aren’t my numbers. Those are the Border Patrol’s numbers.) There’s not one in ten of them that actually leaves later on. Why do you think there are large Spanish-speaking populations in every state now?
By my count, there are AT LEAST 40 million illegals here.

I heard the same claim, but haven’t seen any evidence that this number is correct. The only evidence available is from government sources, PEW, and a few others. That ‘official’ data may or may not be correct, but it’s all we have. Any other numbers are guesses, and therefore are no more reliable than any other number. If you have a source, post it.
