A FAMAS will set you back $30K to $40K. Prices on an M2 seem to vary a lot, but it looks like $20K to $30K.
That’s pretty much a stereotypical “gamer” collection; I’m calling “airsoft.” Some of them are metal, and close enough to the real thing for some parts to interchange.

I see nothing wrong with citizens owning all these weapons and more. I do see something very wrong with the wrong people owning them. TPTB are allowing, even encouraging, gun violence. When someone is mentally ill, a criminal, or not a citizen, they should not be allowed access to weaponry. When they are caught, nothing substantial happens to them as punishment, therefore no deterrent. But then again, how can it? How much has our population increased in the past 50 years (back when they were letting people out of prison for overcrowding) compared to the number of new prisons built? The trajectory our society is on will prove to be a fatal one, and deservedly so if we don’t change it.

I can’t answer the question about the grenade launchers, I just wonder if this person had any idea how to do what he wanted to do. Unless he had people waiting to join in, that many arms seems absurd. Have a couple in case one fails, but if he really thinks he would empty all of those before he gets killed, he doesn’t know much. They don’t do you much good if you’ve got to run back to your car to get a replacement.
