For those of you who say vote R no matter what, and not voting is the same as voting D.
So what will electing Republicans do this time? What will make 2027 and different than now? I’ve said time and time again: just because Democrats are your enemy doesn’t make Republicans your friend.

You are not wrong. We elected them with a clear mandate and still nothing. 99% of the real Americans, the ones who work, pay taxes, maintain the civilization, want the Save act passed and we get nothing. We want the borders secured and we get more H1Bs. Voting R is pretty much worthless, voting D is suicide, and not voting is a silent protest that effectively puts the Ds in office. I’m not sure the lesser of two evils is enough to vote anymore, but outside of flipping the switch and shooting everyone, what else is there to do?

Damn right there isn’t. The necrosis is too deep and heavily infected to treat, and still keep the patient alive. Now we’re just awaiting the inevitable, and trying to decide how best to busy ourselves in the interregnum. I don’t think there are any particularly good answers to the latter question, either.

If you consider voting to make a difference, the only valid option I can find is to vote for the stupid party that pretends to be good. Voting for the evil party is right out, and voting for any third party or not voting are both leaving the illusion of choice up to the general population, half of which are below average IQ.
…And sometimes a politician in the stupid party will surprise you and make a difference before they are subverted by… someone.

While I do NOT want what is on the path to freedom, the other side must be worth it. My forefathers fought in the French and Indian Wars (Seven Years War for those outside the US), the American Revolution (the first American Civil War, the colonials just happened to win), the War of 1812, the War for Southern Independence, and every war since. I’m sure they did not want to go through the process either, yet they valued freedom and liberty above all. Hell, the first Civil War was fought because of taxes 1/10 of what they are today.
I will have a LOT to answer for to my ancestors.

Too late, national collapse is already assured. Unless you have a magic wand to spontaneously wipe from existence over $40T in debt, 50-75 million straight up invaders, another 50 million legally or defacto sanctioned invaders, and tens of millions of insane leftists who are hellbent on destruction, and the entire existing federal government and the two party political establishment (plus the protections it has granted itself against any potential disruptors). Barring the eliminating of those fatal threats, this sucker is about to go down in flames.

OK, begs the question – WHY is collapse to be avoided at all costs??
Our Founding Fathers caused the collapse of the system as they knew it because of their beliefs.
My ancestors fought for this idea in the 1770s, the idea of NOT being under a king. My ancestors also fought for their respective states in the War for Southern Independence, in what they saw as tyranny from the North and Lincoln (spit!!).
WHY are we so scared to “upset the apple cart”?? Yes, the “comfort” of the boot has become too comfortable. Do I WANT to see death and destruction?? NO! But neither do I wish my grandsons to have to do the lifting. Again, I will have to answer to my ancestors for allowing this country to get to where it is.. And, if you’re from cetain parts, you’ll understand WHY our 1800’s ancestors fought for their states….. When someone (outside this country) asks me where I’m from, I STILL answer “TEXAS”!

It appears that “voting” and elections are a joke at this point. We are being manipulated on all sides. How could we possibly know what any particular candidate intends to do?
That aside, does anyone know what happened to that dude Big Country? His blog is no longer accessible. Just asking because this blog is related.

If I agree 60% with one candidate and 20% with another, I’m voting for the 60%. If I wanted a candidate that I agreed with 100% of the time, I’d have to run for office myself. Even after we go through a collapse and rebuild, it still won’t be ideal.

Not wrong. Simply put…voting Republican keeps Democrats from enabling the left’s agenda. Diminishing returns makes this less palatable over time, and there is no viable alternative. Playing defense only is not sustainable. The general public is trending further left over time, moral decay is accelerating, and there are not enough civics educated people to correct the trajectory.
Where is the breaking point? What will it take to get people to wake up? Fraud, cheating, oppressive taxation is everywhere. Illegal immigration is seemingly OK. It’s still not enough to get the middle of the country out of their comfort zone and act when they can literally see it with their own eyes.

I still vote GOP because I live in Oregon and my vote hasn’t actually mattered ever since democrats used their at the time slim majority to push through mail in voting and turned my state from purple to a deep blue shithole with a demonrat supermajority.
I don’t vote because I think it makes a difference.
I do it because I can and it costs me nothing.

There’s really 2 problems here.
1 – Do NOT tell me these are ‘the best’ people our community can produce. Don’t. I don’t have time to have that argument. The Selections we have in November are just that. South Park said it best: Douche or a turd sandwich.
2 – The people that argue ‘we can’t let the left come to power’ aren’t wrong in their argument per se. That’s why you’re given the candidates you get (don’t you wonder why independents never seem to win elections)?
Both are connected.
We all have a pretty good idea of what will happen should we end up 50/50 CONgress, nevermind a Dem majority with executive branch. What you need to be asking is why are we only presented with 2 choices for candidates, both of them BAD? Why does the system, the one that produces our elective candidates, present a douche or a turd sandwich to the electorate?
Once you figure that out, you finally see how deep and systemic the rot really is (hint: all the way). Then you realize the only solution to the problem (hang ’em all), and you’re blackpilled. Most people stop short of that, but there’s a reason everyone eventually comes to hate the funny-hat club, and it’s the same reason! Pattern recognition.
Its being obfuscated from you so you don’t realize it. Once you see behind the curtain, the magic-man no longer has any power.
Now we can start the conversation on voter-fraud, mail-in ballots, voting machines that dial chyna, and a whole slew of other topics…

If they mattered, you wouldn’t be allowed to have them (Saint Carlin, RIP). They rig them literally by vote manipulation and figuratively by candidate control, so like the child in the ‘drivers seat’ meme, American’s think they are actually in control.
