This is socialism in action. An examiner for the Arkansas Bar exam was taking points from one person and giving them to someone with low scores, allowing them both to pass the bar exam.
Nancie Givens, 62, former executive director of Arkansas’s Office of Professional Programs, was arrested Thursday and charged with 65 felony counts of tampering with a public record. She ran the office that supports the State Board of Law Examiners. She altered Bar Exam scores across at least 8 test cycles between July 2020 and July 2025.
In one case, the rightful TOP scorer got docked and someone else got the honor. She is alleged to have changed sccores for at least 64 people. Harvested points from some examinees and added them to others in the same exam to boost them up to the 270 passing score. In at least one case, someone who should have PASSED was made to FAIL.
