Bummer. I thought something like this would have made a good Twilight Zone episode, maybe where a guy figures out how to sell his soul to get that lotto ticket, and he wins the same night that WW III starts or the asteroid hits or whatever. Or maybe a good Outer Limits episode, if you could stretch that out for a whole hour.

Found a wallet last year around the fourth but didn’t find the $100 until months later, it was very well hidden and saved that wallet due to the hidden pocket.
Always be paying attention.
