Science is dead

Why? When colleges can do studies like this one: Does your organization use gender inclusive forms? Nurses’ confusion about trans* terminology You know that science is dead. It was paid for and conducted by San Francisco State University. The conclusion of the study (as if you can’t guess) was:

Results: Only 5% reported use of gender inclusive forms, 44% did not know about inclusive forms, 37% did not understand what a gender inclusive form was and 14% confused gender with sexual orientation.

Conclusion: The study demonstrated a critical need for education in gender identity and sexual orientation terminology.

Relevance to clinical practice: The lack of understanding of concepts and terminology may affect basic care of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender patients especially those who identify as transgender.

The fusion of science and politics. I would suggest that science is dead. This is also why tuition is so high. They need to pay for stuff like this.

Now my brother

Two days ago, I announced that my mother has COVID, but only had mild symptoms. Last week, my Brother received a so-called booster of the vaccine. Today, he was diagnosed with COVID. It seems that even fully vaccinated people with booster shots can get it.

One of my employees today told me that her mother is in the ICU on a ventilator, with an exceptionally bad case of COVID. The mother is unvaccinated, and there are many people that will view this as: “AHA! If she had been vaccinated, she would be fine!”

They would be ignoring that this woman got sick a month ago, and her doctor diagnosed her with tonsilitis. Three weeks later, she woke up gasping for breath, and passed out. She was taken to the ER, where her advanced case of COVID, which her doctor had misdiagnosed, was finally treated.

So is this a case of no vaccine, or a case of an untreated, serious case of an infection caused by a medical error? How does a doctor not test someone for COVID if they come in to the office sick? Or was the test faulty?

Another 12 hour shift today. Sorry I don’t have anything else for you. Tired. I spent all day in the COVID isolation wing, where I walked 10,000 steps. I am worn out.

Not race

We are constantly told how we should allow immigrants illegally crossing our southern border into the nation, and opposition to that makes one a racist.

The administration is not so accommodating when it comes to Cubans, who are being sent back where they came from.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that Cubans tend to vote against Democrats’ failed Communist policies.

Don’t get tested

Mississippi says to isolate after testing positive for COVID-19, or face up to 5 years in prison and a fine. They are going to make it a FELONY to not isolate after testing positive. The crime? Failure to obey an order of a health official that involves a fatal disease. This is the same penalty as battery on a LEO or selling small amounts of weed.

Under this order, you can’t have visitors and must lock yourself in a different room of the house from the rest of your family.

Or you could not take a COVID test. If you take a COVID test, what will it change, except to possibly make you a felon? Just don’t take the test.

Also in the same story, the state’s only Level 1 trauma center, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, also announced on Friday that it would require all staff and students to be vaccinated, a reversal from its previous policy that allowed employees and students to choose not to be vaccinated so long as they wore N95 masks.

Refusing to take the test will only work for awhile. Prison times are here for not isolating. Soon, there will be prison time for not vaccinating. The isolation camps are coming.

I won’t be put in a camp, no matter what it is called, or why they want to do it.

Culture

The people on the left, the ones from the city, think that they understand the culture of those who don’t live in the city.

They don’t understand that there are thousands of people who spend thier weekends shooting and think nothing of hitting a paper plate from 300 yards away- and farther. Many of those people have no idea of the difficulty of such a shot.*

You say that you want to take our guns away. To them, there is this message.+

There are many thousands of Americans who feel this way. I refuse to submit. I refuse to be defeated. I am an armed American patriot, and freedom is my birthright. I will not be subjugated, and because I am armed, I and my fellow armed Americans will be difficult to load into the boxcars.

* Hitting an 8 inch paper plate from 300 yards is a shot that requires moa accuracy. A person capable of that kind of accuracy would be able to hit a person from 500 or even 600 yards.

+ I really like this band. Good old fashioned southern rock. As a general rule, any band with a Rebel Flag guitar usually plays good music.
