Not All Heroes Wear Capes

Eric Fiedler declared war on Seminole County license plate readers, dismantling 22 of them before being caught. He was arrested June 1 after deputies noticed missing Flock Safety Falcon License Plate Readers (LPRs), which the sheriff’s office deployed to identify passing cars for surveillance purposes.

Note that no one in this story is asking why police are carrying out general surveillance of citizens who are not suspected of committing crimes.

When you realize you’re being tracked every day going to the grocery or church or school, and you didn’t have any say in it, it’s a little concerning to me,

Useless Degrees

Many colleges have what they call a liberal studies degree. What this means is that you earn a degree by taking whatever classes appeal to you. You take the basics like math, writing, etc., but then you take so many ‘upper level’ courses to get a degree.

What happens if you take that concept and build an entire college around it? The result is NYU Gallatin. A school where students take classes in some random subjects for a period of years and then receive a degree that is, let’s say, a bit eclectic.

So how do the graduates of this school do in the working world?

  • 69% of them are women, 28% men, 2% are other
  • 77% employed, 17% still in school, 6% unemployed
  • Of those who are employed, most are employed by NYU and make an average of $59k per year.

$59k per year. In Manhattan, where there is a fast food joint right across the street serving $20 cheeseburgers. Keep in mind that a nursing associates degree in Florida, where the taxes and cost of living are much lower, sees a new nurse starting at $65k.

Waste of money, and Biden is forgiving their student loans.

Lawfare

Speaking of show trials and lawfare- the NY government is also saying that Elon Musk shouldn’t receive the stock in the company that he founded and runs. The company is worth approximately $560 billion.

The pay package, valued at roughly $50 billion in stock, was originally approved in 2018 contingent on Musk meeting various goals concerning the company’s finances and stock price, which he did.

The company was worth $57 billion at the time the package was approved. Musk met the goals that were part of the deal, increasing the value of the company by more than $500 billion. He deserves every penny of that compensation package.

Tesla as it is wouldn’t exist without Musk. Make no mistake- this is being done because NY wants to destroy anyone who is seen supporting Trump.

No DELTA Doesn’t Have a License to Kill

A utility worker was taking pictures of power lines in an area of rural NC when he was shot four times by a property owner who also happens to be a member of Delta force. The man was shot in the hand, the back, and then a final kill shot to the face. He was unarmed at the time he was shot. The man shot was from Chechnya. Other details are sparse.

There are some morons on social media claiming that Delta has permission to kill anyone taking photos of them or their families because “national security” demands that maintaining the secrecy of the identities of Delta and their families is of utmost importance. That’s nonsense. Shooting an unarmed man in the back before walking up and delivering the coup de grace to the face is not self defense, and no, the US military doesn’t have an unlimited license to kill people who are taking pictures of them.

Such a policy would be a violation of the Constitutional rights of the people being shot.

Not only that, but killing an enemy agent without interrogating him first is poor doctrine from an intelligence standpoint, so killing him wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do. Capturing and questioning him for intelligence is the smarter move.

No, this guy can’t excuse executing someone. Whether or not he gets protected by the government is another matter entirely, but this certainly looks like murder to me, judging by the sparse facts that are available.

The last thing we want is for government agents to have a license to kill by simply declaring “national security because Delta force, bitch.” Everyone has due process rights. In the absence of exigent circumstances like self defense, no one has the right to kill anyone else, not for national security reasons or any other similar ninja bullshit.

Our Government is Evil

78,000 firearms have been confiscated in Mexico that came from the US. Half of the top sources of these smuggled guns were acting at the behest of the ATF. In fact, the top 5 gun stores that were the source of these firearms accounted for 1102 firearms. The ATF, during Operation Fast and Furious, is known to have been responsible for more than twice that number.

Mexico has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against American gunmakers, as well as accusing five Arizona gun shops of selling guns that crossed the border and were used in crimes. The problem here is that most of those guns were knowingly sold to drug cartels because the ATF told them to do so.

Uriel Patiño was notorious for being the top straw purchaser in the Fast and Furious debacle, purchasing 700 guns under ATF’s watch. Our government is trying to make this happen, which was the entire point of Fast and Furious- to make the gun problem on the border so newsworthy that they would get more power and more budget money.

It is obvious that the bureaucracy is running the government, and the politicians are merely grifters who are under their complete control.

Teens

A 17 year old was shot in Haines City, Florida this weekend. The police officer in question spotted a 2014 Nissan Versa that had been reported stolen that day. They initiated a felony traffic stop, and the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed before striking another car, so police cancelled the pursuit. A short distance away, a Polk county deputy tried to use stop sticks on the car, but the car went off road to avoid them before taking off again at over 100 miles per hour. passenger of the car. The police then used a PIT maneuver to stop the car.

The passenger in the vehicle then tried pulling a gun, so one of the cops shot him. The 19 year old driver was then arrested.

These “teens” aren’t choirboys.

  • The 19 year old driver has 11 felony, six misdemeanor arrests, and three probation violations.
  • The 17 year old (deceased) passenger had been arrested for four misdemeanors, a felony and five probation violations- all by the age of 17.

They were in a stolen car, fleeing from the police, were involved in two hit and run crashes during that chase, and were illegally in possession of drugs and firearms. In my opinion, the actions by the cops here were proper, and the driver should be charged with felony murder.

Falling Up

After I was discharged from the military, I was 24 years old and broke. I didn’t have the skills to live in the civilian world. To call the next few years a struggle is an understatement. I tried running a business, but I failed to understand the complexities and was homeless within 18 months. We managed to scrape together some money and got the hell out of town. My wife, our two kids, and I moved to the Orlando area.

I worked from one job to another, usually working two jobs at a time, while I attended school. Each time I changed jobs, I made a bit more money than the job before. I had a part time job with a volunteer fire department, who was paying me to staff the station during the day while the volunteer force was at work. I worked a night job as well. We were doing better. Then the divorce came. I was homeless again.

Again, I worked my way into prosperity. Within a decade, I had bought a home. Then the bank crisis hit, I had to declare bankruptcy, and was broke again.

Now I own three houses (although one is for sale), and one is producing income as a rental. My net worth is in the 7 figures. I just didn’t give up. Pressley would have you believe that my success is because my skin color somehow gives me an advantage that she doesn’t have.

Rep Pressley calls this “failing up” as she sits in congress making $174,000 a year as a college dropout. In 2018, the year that she was elected, she had a negative net worth of -$12,500. In 2019, she owed $15,000 in back taxes to the IRS. By 2021, she was claiming a net worth of $60,000. So in three years, you made more than half a million bucks, yet only increased your net worth by $72,000? But that isn’t the big part of the story.

In 2024, her net worth crossed $1 million. So in two years, her salary totaled $348,000, but her net worth increased by over $900,000. Where did that money come from? Her husband, who spent 10 years in prison for being a drug dealer. He now owns a consultancy business, Conan Harris & Associates, a management consultant firm that “specializes in executive coaching, strategic planning, capacity building, and diversifying the pipeline of workforce leadership and personnel.” So he rakes in hundreds of thousands of dollars because businesses want to hear his thoughts on how to run a successful business, because being a convicted drug dealer with no formal business education is a skill set that many millionaires need to seek advice from.

I will leave that to my readers to speculate upon.

Dry Run, or Actual Attempt?

Two people inside a box truck tried to force their way onto Quantico Marine Corps Base. Multiple sources report one of the individuals inside the truck is a Jordanian foreign national who recently crossed the southern border into the U.S., and that one of the occupants is on the U.S. terrorist watch list.

Two days after the incident at Quantico, a vehicle crashed into an outer perimeter gate of the White House in Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of the driver. 

Less than a week earlier than the Quantico incident at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story in Virginia on Sunday, April 28, a driver attempted to breach security protocols at the installation’s gate and crashed into a the vehicle denial barricade. (I used to live less than a mile from that gate, on Pleasure House Road.)
