The left’s mounting pressure to impeach Justice Thomas. The official excuse is that his wife has an opinion, so her opinion creates a conflict of interest. I guess the left thinks that women should just stay quiet and make a sandwich.

Back in April, I brought to you the story of the football coach who was fired for praying with his students after football games. No one was forced to partake, it was completely voluntary. Still, Disney and its subsidiaries were opposed. They are OK with trannies, fags, and pedophiles molesting and grooming children, but not to pray with them. The case made it to SCOTUS.

Today, SCOTUS released their decision.

At issue was whether a public school employee praying alone but in view of students was engaging in unprotected “government speech,” and if it is not government speech, does it still pose a problem under the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause. The Supreme Court ruled Monday in a 6-3 decision that the answer to both questions is no.

In full disclosure, I am an atheist. With that being said, I still share more values with religious people than with those who don’t believe in religion.

I don’t think that the government should be involved in marriage at all. Why should I need a permit to be married? It is either a religious ceremony, or a civil contract. In either case, the government doesn’t need to be involved in licensing it. That avoids the issue of interracial marriage, gay marriage, etc.

If a coach wants to pray, he should be permitted to do so. If some of his charges want to pray with him, fine. If others don’t, that is fine too. As long as you can’t prove any favoritism then it isn’t anyone’s business.

This guy and his wife have mutually decided not to have sex. Ok. Mutually, huh? Give it 5 years and do a follow up story.

I promise you that Clarence Thomas has been sitting at home thinking about all of the attacks that his wife has had to endure, the threats of impeachment, and the disgraceful attacks on justices. Now that the decisions are rolling out, he is having the last laugh as he metaphorically bitch slaps the left like Will Smith slapped Chris Rock.

As I do here from time to time, I want to talk about the general economic state of the USA. We as a nation are currently in debt to the tune of $30.448 trillion. Despite the fact that the entire budget deficit for FY2022 was supposed to be $1.0 trillion, we have far surpassed that. At the beginning of the fiscal year, we were $28.428 trillion in debt. The beginning of the fiscal year was two trillion dollars ago, and we still have 2 3 months left in the fiscal year. Not to mention that interest rates have skyrocketed.

The interest on our national debt is skyrocketing, and the CBO is underestimating the costs IMO. For the month of May, interest on that debt was nearly $25 billion. Still, we keep borrowing.

We have to. The only way to fix this disaster is to cut everything. The majority of government spending goes to so-called ‘mandatory spending’ and interest on the money that we have already borrowed. Mandatory spending includes entitlements like Medicare, Social Security, VA benefits, etc. which are REQUIRED by law to be paid. Interest on the debt must also be paid. The money that must be paid totals about $5.2 trillion a year (ten years ago, it was $2.5 trillion). You get that? Social Security, interest on the debt, Medicare, and the like already total more than we take in through taxes.

So the only answer to the debt problem is to cut it all by 50 percent: Defense, Social Security, the VA, all of it. The problem is that is not politically possible. Any politician that advocates cutting Social Security in half can measure the remaining time in his career in milliseconds. Same with any other program.

Nope. We are riding this debt train all the way to the bottom.

Leftists all over the place are having a fit because the cops in Uvalde tackled the husband of a teacher who was trying to enter the school to save his wife, then took his gun away from him.

Hypocrisy. If those same leftists had their way, he would have been shot and killed by those same cops who were serving a red flag order on him for even having a gun in the first place.

I’m going to sound crazy here, but follow this line of thought from my comment over at GFZ.

In the years from 2006 to 2011, the ATF deliberately allowed guns to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. Known as Operation “Fast and Furious,” it was an apparent Machiavellian plan by the Obama Administration to make gun violence along the border to bad that the American people would demand more gun control. This single operation proved that the left generally, and the Obamas specifically, were willing to sacrifice US lives to further their goals and objectives.

• Then in the years leading up to 2015, we now know that Dr Fauci was funding viral research in China. In fact, that funding continues to this day.
• We also know the Dr Fauci predicted in 2017 that Trump would face a pandemic.
• That research eventually produced the COVID pandemic.
• The COVID pandemic was the excuse used to relax election security laws to allow ballot drop boxes.
• These drop boxes were at the heart of election irregularities. There is a certainty that the election was rigged. Don’t deny it. Even Time magazine knows it.

If you had predicted all of those things back in 2019, I myself would have called you a nutcase.

It certainly looks like the left will kill millions in order to get and retain power. Do I think that all of this was a planned series of events? No. Do I think that they took advantage of the events to their benefit? Yes.

So now we know just how far the left will go to pursue their goals. They will lie, cheat, steal, and kill. With that in mind, lets consider that during his election campaign, Joe Biden made a number of campaign promises. He promised to:

• End Fossil Fuels. We all know that is well underway.
• He continues to promise that he will get rid of “Assault Weapons”

Now take a look at today’s post from GFZ. How many headline grabbing mass shootings have there been in the past 90 days? How many happened in the preceding year?

Am I crazy? Or is this simply a continuation of the crazy that has been happening for the past 3 years? It is enough to make me feel like I have stepped through the looking glass into some alternate reality story written by a schizophrenic writer of bad pulp fiction novels.

Jesus, I am starting to sound like Alex Jones.

Uvalde is using every legal resource to keep what happened a secret. The people of Uvalde need to push city elected officials to demand answers from the police chief. If he doesn’t supply them, fire him and promote the assistant chief to interim chief. Make the sane demand. Fire him if he won’t cooperate. Sooner or later, someone will provide answers.

If elected officials won’t do the above, vote them out.

If the citizens of Uvalde don’t do this, then I lose sympathy for them. If your dead kids aren’t enough motivation to act, then you get the government you deserve.
