I believe that the government agents: cops, firefighters, bureaucrats, whatever, all fall into one of three camps.
- They are siding with the commies
- They are siding with traditional America
- They side with whoever they need to side with in order to keep their pensions and pay
Case in point:
In Augusta, Maine on October 18, 2025 there was a No Kings rally on the Memorial Bridge. A man shows up dressed in an American Flag costume with a BYRNA pepper ball gun (which is legal to possess in Maine) to counter-protest. The lefty protesters call 911 screaming “HE’S GOT A GUN.”
The cops immediately handcuff the man and place him under arrest. They refuse to tell him why he is being arrested, only saying that he will find out what the charges were when he gets to the police station. As soon as they arrive at the station, the police simply release the cuffs and tell him he is free to go, no charges.
The officers later admitted they removed him in handcuffs to prevent the mob from becoming violent.
To those officers who read this blog, especially those who have criticism for what I have to say: Is this something you support? Would you silence one side, violating their constitutional rights and your own oath, simply to prevent the mob from becoming violent? If the answers to either of those questions are yes, then we know where the police stand.

There’s an old saying that goes “If it can’t continue, it won’t”. I always thought that to be true but now I’m doubting it. Nothing makes sense. In 1980, the national debt was $980M, and people were freaking out about the end of our society with this crushing debt. Turns out, it doesn’t seem to matter. Our national debt is $40T, so whose to say $400T would be bad? What will be the tipping point, not just financially, but what we’re willing to endure as behavior in society? It seems we’re close to both.

The current arrangement whereby the govt. collects taxes and pays “public servants” – including police officers – using taxpayer’s money, is badly flawed and produces counter-productive disincentives and moral hazards to beat the band.
Tax revenues belong to the citizenry, the people who originally earned the money. However, because they turn over control of those funds to the government, the government in effect “owns” them.
The result is that although govt. employees such as the police give lip-service to working for the taxpayers, they really work for and do the bidding of the government, the people who pay them.
In theory, the government is supposed to represent the people and follow their wishes as expressed in the political process. The reality turns out to be different. Politicians have discovered that if they pander to the voters every election cycle, enough to get re-elected, they can safely ignore thier wishes most of the rest of the time.
Moreover, since politics takes big money for re-election campaigns and whatnot, it has become a pay-to-play game. Monied special interests get a seat at the table, as do the billionaire class and big corporations and banks. Care to guess who isn’t invited to the party? If you guessed “the people” you were right the first time.
At the local level, ordinary people have more options available to them for redress of police malfeasance and misconduct, but the basic dynamic remains the same.
Since the police have sovereign immunity and can pay for their legal defense out of taxpayer funds, they are in effect insulated from the negative consequences of their behavior.
People respond to incentives, and as the system stands now, they are mostly aligned in the wrong direction with respect to this problem.
And the above analysis does not even address the other elephant in the room: The two-tiered justice system we now have in these United States. Whereby privileged identity groups are policed differently and adjudicated differently by the court system than unprivileged identity groups. The Shiloh Hendrix case is the latest case in point.

Lazy cops are lazy. Also water is wet and fire is hot, film at 11.
Look, we all know cops are going to go for the “low hanging fruit” most of the time. Yes he will get a payout on a lawsuit, but not one nickel of it will come from either the individual cops or the PD itself. Taxpayers will just have to BOHICA.
Until the time comes where the individual cop suffers repercussions, nothing will change.

We saw that during Covid. We saw that in the video posted: they will KNOWINGLY violate your legal rights, and do so with violence and impunity should you resist, because..
Qualified Immunity means they will never, EVER be punished.
Unless they do it EXACTLY AS TRAINED TO DO BY THEIR DEPARTMENT to a drug-overdosing fake-note-passing career criminal in Minneapolis. Then they’re fucked and go to jail for 20 years.
