I called in sick to work today. Spent most of the day sick and sleeping. Not seriously ill, just an annoying respiratory infection, one that seems to be making the rounds through the ED staff. We had six nurses call in sick yesterday with it.
Hopefully, I will be on my feet tomorrow.

I hope you’re feeling better and symptoms have lessened. Good luck.

I seem to get sick every fall. Last October, I got Flu B and it turned into pneumonia. It sucked.

Every fall?
A over reaction to allergies or lack of Vitamin D ?
Maybe your avoiding the sunshine during late and hot summer down your way?
Not like you or I can avoid the flu virus in our hospital work. As I understand it there’s no season that flu viruses isn’t around.

It’s worse here in the fall. Everyone is outside during the summer, then school begins and we get a lot more illnesses as the little germ factories are now snotting all over everyone at school.
