An Oregon court has ruled that Second Amendment sanctuary laws are illegal. I wonder if that applies to marijuana and illegal immigrant sanctuary cities and states.

I think we know the answer to that.

‘Of course not,’ they’ll say. ‘This is TOTALLY different, you bigoted ammosexual!’

How is it different? Well, they can’t explain that part. But we all know why. It’s because it’s different when they do it.

The Oregonian sheriffs should respond by telling the judge, ‘Cool. Now try to enforce your edict.’

Unfortunately I agree with Toastrider.
But note the content – unlike some areas, this actually fines state officials who enforce gun laws; my understanding is that many counties say that they won’t enforce gun laws, saying nothing about state officials actions.

Well, it’s completely different but not in the manner the left will claim.
The laws regarding immigration are constitutional, not subject to nullification. Sanctuary states/cities are violating them and the constitution.
The laws infringing upon the second amendment are unconstitutional and are thus null and void. Enforcing those laws is unconstitutional.
The left considers the constitution an obstacle.

What’s the court going to do? Walk around with every office to make sure they’re enforcing it?

Not that I go into Oregon ever–and not that Washington is any better. But here in my “red” part of the state, the officers all know that if they start confiscating guns, they’re probably not going to survive the day, let alone the hour. They took an oath to defend the constitution, and most of them (at least in my area) would do so. Maybe some of them would be reluctant, but they’d all get Solzenitzen’s point pretty quickly: “If […] people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!”
