Stop me if you have heard this before: The Republicans are telling us if we sit out this election, the Democrats will win. If the Republicans win, we already know what will happen:
Of course, the thing you will hear in return is:
I’m as pissed as you. But sit out and you won’t even get the hearings, you’ll get more graft, more Islamic enabling and our 2nd Amendment rights will be attacked. You know better
I was reliably told by the very same people that a vote for Trump was a vote for Democrats, yet Trump put some solid people in SCOTUS, and that alone has made more progress than the entire Republican party has in the past 30 years. The entire party hasn’t done a thing to make our lives better since Clinton’s first term, and even then all they managed to pull off was a sunset clause on the AWB.
Why should I vote for you? What do I get from you, other than “I am not a Democrat?” In the words of the two Bobs: “What is it that you would say you do here?”

Or pawn shop: best we can do is close shop and take off.

Yep…they suck. Can’t/won’t pass the save act, no one ever gets prosecuted, debt is out of control, and they spend as much time off as they do in office.
At this point, I’ll vote for Republicans to avoid the impeachment theater that will ensue if Dems retake either house. I won’t be able to turn on the tv or listen to talk radio with all that friggin noise for 2 years.

Nothing changes and frankly the Retardagains optics or marketing is done by someone that hates the retardagains. Great, your in office and do nothing, the Demonrats at least do something to advance the base agenda. Fuck all of them right off a cliff.

“they spend as much time off as they do in office.”
That’s a feature, not a bug. Be thankful.

Sure, the Republicans are feckless. The Democrats are terrifying. They actually will do the crazy shit they’re talking about. I’ll vote for the status quo, even if I don’t care for it, if it will keep the Jacobins out of power.

I’m certain that in most cases voting for the Republicans is better in the sense that leaping off the cliff is better than stepping off just to avoid bouncing off the rocky outcrops on the way down…
In Texas we had a choice between Paxton or Cornyn. If Cornyn had won the primary I wasn’t voting in the general election. But now it’s a choice between Paxton and Talarico so I’m voting for Paxton! And if there aren’t significant accomplishments by 28 I’ll just go fishing on election day. Trump is term limited. All the other GOP candidates are part of the problem. But if some high ranking people go to jail then I’ll vote in 28. Failing to pass the SAVE act was pretty much the final straw for me. Both houses of the legislature are straight up chickenshit parasites! Sir John Glubb was right about the age of empires. Oh well, 250 years was an average run.

The problem is it is presented as the Republicans opposed to the Democrats. That’s wrong. They are the Uniparty, two sides of the same coin, and you see the Republicans support their Uniparty Democrat colleges in almost every significant vote. Or fail to vote for significant legislation (SAVE act) that is supported by the American people and will help the American people.

Uniparty… absolute truth! The left wing and right wing are attached to the same bird. And it ain’t an eagle! It’s a vulture. No it’s not a vulture. What’s the tapeworm of the avian world?
I don’t think we’re gonna vote our way out of this mess. I’m glad that I’m old and childless.
