In my experience, “can’t find suitable employees” is synonymous with “can’t find qualified employees willing to work for peanuts.” IT, trucking, and nursing have been dealing with this for decades.
While nursing may be a good-paying career in some areas, in places like rural Arkansas, an LPN is expected to work for not much more than minimum wage.
