Delta Air Lines plans to charge workers who refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccination an extra $200 per month for their health care insurance. The average Delta employee hospitalized for COVID-19 has cost the company $50,000, CEO Ed Bastian said in a memo to employees released by the airline, so this is intended to have the unvaccinated workers pay for that cost.

Why stop there? We could institute a social credit score, like China has. Like private credit scores, a person’s social score can move up and down depending on their behavior. The exact methodology would be a secret, like credit scores. Still, some examples of infractions would include bad driving, smoking in non-smoking zones, buying too many video games, not being vaccinated, and posting fake news online.

The system can be used for individual people, but also for companies and government organizations. The message is clear: be a responsible citizen, or pay extra.

Like having bad credit, a below average score would mean paying more for meals, cell phone service, or insurance. A score that drops further would mean slow internet, a ban on travel, the inability to get a hotel room, or restrictions on what kind of car you can buy.

Of course, those with the lowest scores would be required to attend courses on being a responsible citizen. To eliminate distractions while also preventing unsocial people from affecting those around them, these classes would be taught at a government owned boarding school. To ensure that everyone could afford it, clothing, meals, and lodging would be entirely at government expense for those attending this school.

Doesn’t that sound nice? The world could use a little kindness, equality, and social responsibility, and the government can make sure we all get that while also making us safe from the poor behavior and decisions of others.

It would be horrible those employees did $200 worth of damage to the company every time they came on shift.

Run a successful company much?

Those close-minded antivaxxers being charged $200 by their enlightened employer are the ONLY employees that DON’T risk aggravating vaxx and altitude-induced thrombosis.

With flight cancellations averaging 6x the norm due to vaxx side-effects, these employees may have leverage for significant pay raises in coming days. I’ll be happy to negotiate for them…

The days of defying logic from positions of power are coming to an abrupt and painful end.

Its all sin dejour….smokers get hit with higher premiums and have to have nicotine labs drawn to prove they’re no longer smoking. Notice no one wants to charge diabetics more, obese people more, or even deny care to self-induced drug overdoses…..

I truly relish the thought of the airlines being financially destroyed. They have richly deserved it since at least 9/11 by not having effective security procedures in place, and all the more so for whoring out the responsibility for their security – which in point of fact still doesn’t exist, as it’s all theatre – to the TSA, which itself is just another dysfunctional and degenerate snafu of affirmative action jerkoffs suckling at the govt teat.

Moreover, their business model sucks and the experience of commercial flying is one of the most rage inducing and demoralizing things I’ve ever seen people willingly pay for. Maybe even worse than Cubs fans. We apparently have an unending supply of masochists willing to ensure the ongoing existence of this albatross.

If covid and all its myriad policy mis-steps and knock on effects yet to come are what finally kills them, then I’m all for it. Put them on the ash heap of history, as they are simply unfit for purpose. It will have the added benefit of making the world less accessible to asshole tourists and nation wrecking easy mass migration.

So, no one should even fly with Delta. Hit the bastards right on the bottom line. Personally, I have not been on a Delta flight since ’97, and no other airline since ’10. If I can’t drive there, I don’t go there. One of the perks of old age….

So I assume that in 3-5 years when all those vaccinated start needing heart transplants, Delta is going to charge them proportionately (and retroactively if necessary) for their costs?

What happens when a Delta employee, who has been uber jabbed and boosters, gets sick?
Who’s responsible for the cost?
Perhaps employers, especially compassionate Delta-ta, should extra extra for those pesky cancer and diabetic ridden serfs, oops, i mean “Team members”.
