I remain convinced that Lincoln was the first Ruler of the American Empire. The golden age was in the 1950s, and by the time it completed its crowning achievement of landing on the moon, it was already in decline.
Under the Feudal system, people living under a rulers “protection” had to spend 2 days each week working for their “lord” and pay a bit to him from the other days, so that a peasant paid his lord about a third of his productive labor in what we would call taxes. They got off easy. Our effective tax rate approaches 50%.
Even that will soon end as we are crushed under the weight of illegal immigrants and their offspring. The Supreme Court just ruled that every pregnant third world refugee who squirts out a child is entitled to stay here and feed from the public trough.
As I have been saying, Trump was nothing more than a bump in the road. The Democrats are soon to win the midterms. The nation I was born in, as flawed as it was, is over.
Poor design combined with bad decisions and crooked politicians have doomed the dream of our founding fathers even before any of us were even born.
Call this black pilled, call it doom saying. I call it math. No nation can survive unending handouts and unlimited spending. As the money runs out, the law becomes more desperate to maintain control, more despotic.
It’s going to get worse. Much worse. It’s inevitable- the rest is rearranging deck chairs. We have a front row seat to observe the end.

If your out of shape, get fit. Stock those things you take for granted now, fuel, ammo, food.
Free your mind and your ass will follow.
Make IRL connections with like minded people and constantly improve upon your skill sets.

You have expressed my fears perfectly. The SCOTUS decision about late-counting ballots jams the door open for vote fraud–and we can expect plenty of fraud in the midterms. As for stemming the flood of illegal migrants, ICE as it stands is insufficient to do so, but the expansion of ICE and its funding is a very longshot bet.
We might still recover the Republic, but it’s becoming ever more doubtful.

Wish I were as optimistic as you. Paraphrasing someone or other, a country this rich has a lot of fail in it. The dumpster fire will outlive our grandkids.
The problem with the vote counting is not that they have as long as they like to find votes, but rather that they can stop that process whenever they are ahead. In theory, Rs could start cheating at scale, too, manufacturing mail-in ballots wherever they are needed. But the Ds retain the power to stop the counting whenever they want, and declare anything after this arbitrary point is no longer election “day”.

It’s just like the EU requiring repeated votes until the voters produce the “right” result, and then claim “the people have spoken”. And then claim to the people protesting, “but you voted for this.”
No, I and others didn’t.
You cannot claim the “right” result is what the voters voted for, and it’s even worse in the States. Dominion voting machines, ballot stuffing, and dead people voting means that the voters didn’t vote for what happened.
The fix was in, and the nomenklatura got the result they wanted.

As a “what if” a law could be past that would reduce benefits on a time schedule such that after a few years benefits were a dollar a month. Yep the recipient could reapply but would need to show need. No speak da English wouldn’t fly.

SCOTUS has become completely irrelevant. Their positions are meaningless. Only in polite society are assholes like that respected. Rulings like this make them accomplices with these 3rd world niggers and tacos. Fuck them. I’ve said this before: Everyone of these arrogant pricks wanted their nomination to the supreme court. They love the prestige, fame, country clubs, the shmoozing with other fuckhead judges. And they all say they will objectively follow the law. And that is bullshit. When the chips are down, and they realize their robes dont protect them, they throw all that noble right and wrong legal posturing to the side. They become clowns instead of jurists. And their holdings are not worth the paper they are written on. We are there. Fuck these assholes.

We’ve always viewed Trump as “speed bump”. The Trump years have given us the final eight years or so to finalize everything in our lives to be prepared for what comes next. That only works if you’re at or close to retirement, healthy, and have the ability to set up your life so you are relatively independent of the system and can live in an isolated part of the country. I feel sorry for anyone under the age of 55 (unless they are already very wealthy and can afford to make these moves early in life).

I believe the “blueprint” for this gov’t was flawed from the beginning. It does not have built-in remedy for infractions, like any normal business contract would have. The entire gov’t is riddled with skyscraper sized crimes and corruption at all levels and it is simply regarded as business as usual.
For 20+ years I have known there is no nonviolent solution and the populace has been dumbed down and cucked down so as no violent solution is available neither. We, as a country, are truly fucked eventually.
It is no longer safe nor smart to try to find “like minded” associates. The country is THAT fragmented. I only speak for myself when I say that each of us must find our own way to deal with the only lives we will ever own the best we can.
I am a true lone wolf that wears many disguises depending on circumstances I find myself in. Even my wife of 42 years will be thrown overboard if she is some how convinced that I am unfavorable. I did not set out to be this way. I just payed attention and constantly modified myself as time went by and I expect to be this way til I die.

Lincoln was an avid reader of a European correspondent and opinion columnist for the New York Daily Tribune. Some German guy named Karl Marx. Marx’s collaborator Friedrich Engels also used his byline. Lincoln shared Marx’s abolitionist views, and agreed with his favoring labor over capital, though Lincoln did not favor the purifying revolutionary shedding of capitalist blood which enthralled Marx. Well, not exactly. Maybe. Writing that sentence made me think of Lincoln’s Second Inaugural address.
Radical–including communist–Germans who came over after the failure of the 1848 revolution were important to the Union effort. They created kindergarten, and were important advocates for compulsory public education as a vehicle for “revolutionary pedagogy.” The shifted the American focus from classical liberalism to an a wellfare state with an administration based on “scientific” principles.

The obvious solution here is to deny them entry if they are fat with child. Won’t happen though.
The best line I heard about this is that the democrats will drive us over the cliff at full throttle. At least the republicans will downshift to 3rd gear. All of these guys in power are simply too stupid and corrupt to fix anything.
Math is coming for us and it’s going to kick our ass. The only way to make it better would be to drastically cut expenses. Won’t happen. So in the next few years, we’re going to take it in the nuts. Just as I’m thinking about retiring. I’ll get stiffed on SS, and my retirement plans will become useless as the dollar will be. Wait until you see them means test social security for white guys like me that have worked all their lives so useless eaters can get paid.
There’s more than just me in that boat, and I’m one of the better prepared ones. Well, prison is a viable retirement plan. Not a great one. But viable.
I think we’ll see a far different country within the decade.

Before the 14th “insertion” A person was a citizen of these uSA by virtue of that state being in the Union.
Take a look at history of the 14th. As someone said, the uSA, which fought secession became secessionist. Then, you have remaining States, during the process, recall the ratification only b to still be counted as ratifying.

Exactly. It used to be that a person was a citizen of Florida, and Florida was in the union. The Civil War eliminated that and made us one homogeneous nation.

Florida and all of the states were members of a union, and the office was DC which conducted a minimum of needful affairs. Lincoln destroyed the sovereignty of the States, essentially separate countries, and sucked the captured lands into a corporation that was declared bankrupt in 1933. In 1863 the slaves were “freed?” Actually they were categorized as U.S. citizens, meaning they were citizens of DC, a corporation, and residents of a corporate franchise called FL, or TX, or NY, or VA, etc. These places exist only on paper, and now bankrupt paper to boot. It would be far more advantageous to declare yourself a citizen of KFC because at least that company is solvent and you are privy to 11 secret herbs and spices. A U.S. citizen, who is disallowed Constitutional Rights and the ability to own property, is saddled with the task of paying back the bankruptcy to the Federal Reserve which owns the bankrupt US incorporated. Because the “money” the Fed prints doesn’t discharge a debt but actually compounds it with interest, looks as though every American is down on the plantation picking cotton. Personally I’ve attempted to do something about that status.
The reckless and dangerous nature of having TWO categories of American citizenship was expressed in dissension by Supreme Court Justice John Harlan in Downes v. Bidwell, 182 U.S. 244 (1901). Justice Harlan wrote, “The idea prevails with some that we have in this country substantially two national governments; one to be maintained under the Constitution, with all its restrictions; the other to be maintained by Congress outside and independently of that instrument. if the principles thus announced should ever receive the sanction of a majority of this court, a radical and mischievous change in our system will result. We will, in that event, pass from the era of constitutional liberty guarded and protected by a written constitution into an era of legislative absolutism…. It will be an evil day for American Liberty if the theory of a government outside the Supreme Law of the Land finds lodgment in our Constitutional Jurisprudence. No higher duty rests upon this court than to exert its full authority to prevent all violation of the principles of the Constitution.” In spite of the grave warning of Justice Harlan, the ill-conceived 14th Amendment and its creation of a second-class citizen unworthy and disallowed of unalienable God-given Rights protected by our Constitution is a virus that has spread until now almost every American has been enveloped and diseased; permanently cast down to the level of a recently “freed” slave.

Agreed, and going into the Civil War, it wasn’t the US Army but the 11th Vermont Infantry Regiment or the 1st Pennsylvania Light Artillery. Each state decided what elements to send. Additional changes took place in 1913.
I believe that we shall go down as another great civilization throughout history – like Rome, the Greeks, ancient Egypt, etc. No one will remember us until future archeologists find our artifacts. I wish that I was wrong, but the history books say otherwise.
